Have been a frequent guest (and now a member!) of the local 4Cats Oakville Studio and I'm so glad I found this place! 🤗

Staff (esp. Stephanie) is always so friendly and helpful and there's always something to learn with each visit.

It's always a blast making a new friend every time we drop by and I'm looking forward to all the future projects 2025 has in store. 🥳

We signed up for the pixel love mug class and had Stephanie as an instructor. Very simple class, stephanie takes you through the instructions and gives the best advice to ensure the art piece comes out properly. Not only did I learn something new but I had fun and enjoyed my time there. The studio is very clean (as clean as an art studio can be hehehe) and it was an enjoyable experience. I am looking forward to buying a membership and coming for other classes throughout this year.

This year I wanted to try my hand at pottery and I’m so happy we went with 4cats studio! It was so fun that we just completed our SECOND 5-week wheel class. It’s an intimate class of 4 students to 1 teacher and our instructor Stephanie was very attentive when teaching us the basics of throwing on the wheel.

Each class is focused on a different goal: centering, creating a bowl, mug and plate…but you have the freedom to choose what you want to make and the instructors will help guide you to your vision. I especially loved getting to try speckled clay and marbling techniques for a different effect. The last day we spend painting our pieces!

My friends and I had an amazing experience as complete beginners. Through the promotion at 4cats, I can confidently say that you won’t find a better deal out there, it’s definitely the most affordable multi week wheel course I found within the GTA. I would highly recommend this location if you want to pick up a new hobby.

We signed up for their PA workshop and arrived on time to a closed studio.
Two other families waiting. Disappointed kid, lots of wasted time. No one to contact either. Waited for half an hour and left with the other families.

Edited to add: last workshop we took at that location, we were able to take our work home only two months later due to a breakdown. At first they told us to come back in two weeks, but it wasn’t ready then. You’d think they would care enough to notify their clients when it’s ready, but nope. Lovely business idea poorly organized.

I contacted them via chat and was told that apparently the workshop was cancelled a week prior. However I register the night before and there were no notifications of that, and my transaction went through smoothly. Also there was no notice on the door which I think should have been there considering they did nothing to update their booking system. I was not given an apology, merely a refund which was presented as “compensation”. However it did not compensate for the trouble of finding childcare the last minute or the time spent regulating my kid’s emotions (which was very upset and disappointed). I feel they could have offered a discount on top of the refund which I voiced to them but they refused.

I recently completed the 5 week clay workshop which was a great deal and became a member! I made quite a few pieces and I'm excited to use them at home. I'm also booking my birthday party here to make some penguin mugs with a couple friends. The cost for the workshops are really competitive, Gi and Stephanie are so patient, positive and nice. It is a great environment and very relaxing. I haven't done pottery since high school and it's been nice to rediscover a hobby again!

I visited 4Cats to inquire about classes for my daughters, but the woman who answered the door was extremely rude. She refused to give me any information and literally shut the door in my face. This was an incredibly unprofessional and disappointing experience. I was genuinely interested in bringing my kids, but after this treatment, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Customer service matters, and this was completely unacceptable.

Went with my daughter for the pottery wheel classes. Had a fantastic time and the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. Left with some great pots. Looking forward to going again.

I couldn’t have been happier about how the party turned out and all the kids and parents said it was one of the best parties they’ve been to. Thank you to Emma for keeping the party moving and kids engaged. I am impressed time and time again at this studio and highly recommend doing any event or class at 4cats. High quality oven baked clay projects turned out so great!!! Thank you so much.
