Recently bought a 2024 Ford Escape from Montgomery Ford in Kincardine. Had a great experience with Mike from start to finish. He was friendly, honest and everything you expect out of a good salesman. I took in a Silverado truck to be detailed and it was not an easy job and I knew it. They had it for when they opened and I asked for the silver package which was almost Two hundred dollars and was to be done at about 2 in the afternoon. I got a call about 1 o'clock saying it was not going to be done until 5, I got it at 430.
That is really not why they are getting a bad rating the reason is they did a horrible job and then charge me for a gold package which came to over 300 hundred. I okayed it because I thought maybe it did take that long. What I think happened is they forgot about it and didnt start the job until around 1 and than rushed it because I needed it back and tried covering up that they had forgot about it. I have had vehicles detailed before so I know what a good job looks like. They vacuumed and shampooed it but you can still see dirt on the sides of the seats and dog hair. Also they always armoral them and not one surface was armoralled. Actually the dash and the the doors didn't look like they had been cleaned at all it honestly didn't look any different than when I took it in it was still dirty at the edges. It had a quick cleaning before it was taken in because it is being sold so i know what it looked like before. Very upset and will never take a vehicle to them again for detailing.
