Our daughters are so happy here with their teachers. I have never doubted that they are cared for deeply and appreciate the French immersion at a young age. Mme Elsa gets rave reviews for her cooking from my older daughter and I love how healthy and fresh everything is. The independence both of my kids have developed through Montessori teaching is invaluable. Wonderful place.

It is a wonderful school with friendly and professional teachers. For me, as well as for each mother, the well-being of my child comes first. My daughter was happy to go to this school, and I am grateful to the owner of school Madam Deepa, all teachers and staff for becoming a second family for my child, giving her new knowledge and doing everything to make her feel comfortable. They always try to support and find particular approach to each child offering those activities that they'd like, a lot of outdoor time, music lessons and fun. I cannot say enough amazing things about La Maison Montessori Kingston. They have single handedly been the most supportive and engaging environment for my son to thrive at during his important first few years of a school like environment! Before my son even started, the school director was in touch personally to insure the most secure and sound transition from my son staying at home with me full time, to 5 days a week of school!

My son now RUNS into his classroom to greet his teachers and friends, and frequently comes home with new vocabulary and learnings! His speech, social skills, appetite and overall being has been not only been supplemented at La Maison Montessori, but has also far surpassed any possible expectations I could have ever had, for my son’s first school experience! We can’t wait to finish out our beginning years with the staff at the school, and are excited to see what the next year and a half brings! I highly recommend checking out this establishment if you have littles, and want them to succeed in every aspect early childhood education has to offer!

A delayed but necessary review. My first-born went to MMK from July 2020 until March 2023, and we decided it was best to move him following the change in ownership/administration roughly October 2022. The change in ownership coincided with a flurry of other changes including fees, teachers, programming, and quality. A previous review highlighted similar issues we also experienced. Communication and transparency remained ongoing issues and I could no longer trust the administration. The teachers in the pre-school class were adequate and not fully Montessori trained at the time, and far from the teachers under the previous administration and in the toddler class. I can appreciate that additional changes and previous instability may have improved since we left, but because of the direct experience with the new owner/administration, our second-born will not be going to this daycare. I am writing this now as I manage the waitlists of future placements. Anyone considering MMK, I encourage you to speak with parents directly, pay special attention to the manual, ask lots of questions, and trust your gut.

As a French-Canadian, having my child immersed in a French environment was a big priority of mine. La Maison Montessori Kingston’s staff make French a priority and make sure to communicate with the children in French daily.

The communications between the administrative and pedagogical staff with our family has been clear, open and always focused on the children’s needs and development. Unlike day care facilities, the staff are all trained or are working towards their Montessori certification and foster a safe environment for the children to grow and feel comfortable working on skills appropriate for their age and personal abilities.

My daughter loves all the teachers she interacts with and yells out in excitement every time we drive by the school. I highly recommend this early childhood educational establishment.

We are very satisfied with the daycare. When we first came to La Maison Montessori Kingston, all hesitation was left aside. We were enchanted by the beauty of the interior. There is everything for children. Every day we make sure that we made the right choice. In our daycare, the teachers are real professionals, experts in their field and just wonderful people. First of all, we should thank the administrator for such comfort. She managed not only to create this atmosphere, but also to unite a team of real professionals. We are very happy with our experience at La Maison Montessori. We are very grateful for the communication (newsletters, updates, brightwheel app) and our daughters compassionate and kind teachers. As a new preschooler in the class, we notice that our daughter comes home singing, speaking French and sharing how much she misses and cares about her teachers and friends. In addition, her independence has flourished and we think she is well on her way to being ready for French Immersion next year. We feel the administrator is focused on our kids wellbeing, safety and development. She also values and observably cares for the teachers happiness, well-being and success in the classroom. We are very happy to be a part of this community.

LMMK is the epitimy of community. The staff work tirelessly to ensure all students have what they need to achieve sucess, and actively share all milestones, big and small, with family through private online platforms, to ensuure everyone is able to see the progress and be a part of the journey. As a voulenteer with LMMK, after only a couple weeks, growth in every child was undeniable. Support in all areas, from language development to self-confidence, allows every student to achieve sucess in their own ways and at their own pace. I have never seen an environment quite like LMMK, which fosters curiosity in such a way that has students excited to learn as soon as they step foot in the door. Every student demonsttrates their love for the community and that is a direct reflection of the efforts put in by incredible staff members to make this happen. I have seen first-hand the efforts made by management to ensure no child is left behind, and all additional measures needed to allow a student to reach their full potential are taken without question. I am grateful to be a part of such a diverse and positive community, and to get to witness the brightest futures in the making.
