Our experience with Rachel at Big Words Little People has been amazing. She is so incredible with my very shy little guy to the point he now looks forward to going to his appointments. Even when my daughter has had to tag along, Rachel has been so patient and ensured my daughter was included in the session, helping my son. My son's speech has improved so much in the time that we have been seeing Rachel. She has such an wonderful family centered approach, giving us as parents, the tools and strategies to be able to feel confident to help our son's language develop!

Big Words Little People is an absolute God-send. We initially looked into this option for our son simply because of the location. After working with both Rachel and Lindsay, we are so glad we made the call. Our son was immediately comfortable with both of them and made to feel important and special. Rachel gave us excellent information and was able to gently identify other areas where our son needed support.
We found that our son instantly improved, and we were given activities at home to maintain progress. It’s not an overnight “quick-fix”, but we have been so pleased by how far he has come over the last year. Our friends at Big Words Little People are so warm and helpful and, at the same time, very knowledgeable and professional. This is an excellent option for anyone looking for language supports for their child - we would highly recommend them.

Heather is an amazing. She has the ability to connect with my child in away that I didn’t think a stranger could. My son absolutely loves going to work with Heather. As a result, he is committed, works hard, and engages for the full session. He has seen remarkable improvement in his reading. This is an accomplishment for my 7 year old that is very active, shy to new people, and once he warms up his focus often drifts to his humorous nature. Heather is able to use his personality to her advantage to push him to new heights in his literacy skills. Thank you so much. Our son is so proud to show off his developing skills and his confidence has skyrocketed.

Our son has been seeing Danielle for almost a year and we could not be more ecstatic with his progress. We have been in speech therapy with our son for over 3.5 years. After being with our previous speech therapist, we made the switch to BWLP after a recommendation to work with Danielle who focuses in pediatric speech therapy.
There was no "playing shy" the very first session. Our son was instantly interested and felt at ease with Danielle. Every session is engaging and fun. Danielle provides hands on activities and games that focus on his needs and his expressive language has developed so rapidly that everyone he talks to has noticed a huge difference in his speech.
After each session Danielle has taken the time to provide at-home work to continue help build his speech skills and overall language ability. Danielle has been truly amazing and we could not have asked for anything better.

Heather has been great to work with and both our children look forward to their appointments! The advancement in our son’s speech has far exceeded our expectations. Heather has been working with our 7 year old son who is non-verbal and considered severely autistic. Only a year ago, he was barely able to make word sounds.
In the past 6 months, he has made leaps and bounds with Heathers fun and innovative teaching methods and he is now able to identify letters, words and making full sentences!
Heather has created a program that’s constantly adapting to cater to his needs.
When it can be sometimes challenging getting our son to engage and participate, he is always excited when he knows he has speech with Ms. Heather and gives her his full attention.
We can’t thank or recommend Big Words, Little People enough for their attentiveness and giving our son the confidence to use his voice.
