I took the MOA program with Sprott Shaw in Nanaimo and my experience was amazing. The instructors were available for the students when we had questions, the class sizes were managable, the online classes were accessable and easy to follow along. There were many friendships made and a wonderful education earned.

The instructors and staff were wonderful to work with. They were friendly and open for conversation. They were helpful and knowledgeable with all my questions and concerns, and we were able to find amicable solutions to any setbacks I experienced. There were plenty of check ins throughout my journey, which made me feel very valued.

There were many flexible learning opportunities including the rolling start which allowed me to start my education journey within 2 months of applying, rather than waiting until the following September.

The online program saved me time by not having to commute, which allowed me to spend more time with my family. It saved money by not having to pay for fuel or parking costs, as well as avoiding childcare costs.

There were extra bonuses such as access to counselling and mental health services and a fitness app to assist with my fitness goals while in school.

Overall, I cannot express just how pleased I was with the whole experience!

Choosing Sprott Shaw was the best decision I’ve ever made! The instructors are wonderful, the atmosphere is fun, and the courses are challenging. Class sizes are small, which means you get to spend more time ensuring that everyone understands the material. I was one month into my 16 week program when I decided to take on another course - I loved being there that much! I found a job in my field before I had even graduated. I cannot recommend this school enough!

I actually get excited coming to school! This is a great place. Everyone is so friendly and the biggest thing for me is they were willing to change the start time of my program, so it would work with daycare pickup and drop off. The instructors all want you to succeed and the smaller classroom sizes are fantastic!

I had a wonderful experience at Sprott Shaw Nanaimo! The staff are all so kind courteous and genuinely care for the students. I have a diagnosed mental health condition and the amount of support they gave me when I required a little extra was amazing. Even after I finished my program up until today the staff still. reach out and to check in! I would highly recommend going in and talking to them if your thinking about going back to school it will be worth it!!

When I started at Sprott Shaw we entered the pandemic 3 months later. Classes still continued as normal just over web-ex. Sprott Shaw handle the transition very well for us to continue with our education. My experience over the past year has been great. The teachers were phenomenal, they were knowledgeable and always willing to help. Thank you to all my teachers for being so great!

I graduated from Sprott Shaw Nanaimo in 2016 from the Business Administration Management program. When I first thought about going back to school, I was extremely nervous and really had no idea what I wanted to do. The Admissions Advisor was very patient and allowed me to decide for myself what my best path should be. She was not pushy, despite the fact that I took a long time to really decide what to do.

The experience there was wonderful. Smaller classes, and more importantly, learning content one step at a time was very conducive to my learning style. It gave me the opportunity to not only work while not in class, but still put my best work forward. I strongly recommend this campus to anyone looking to begin a new career, as the staff were very helpful every step of the way.
