To be honest, I was quite disappointed with the first aid training I attended today. I enrolled specifically for Emergency Childcare training due to my role at a high-volume preschool, where the safety of the children is paramount. However, the class turned out to be a mishmash of various first aid topics, with minimal focus on child-specific emergencies. The instructor's knowledge seemed vague, and the content wasn't tailored to the needs of childcare providers. It's frustrating because proper training is crucial in my line of work. I feel like 'first aid businesses' prioritize selling mandatory credentials rather than delivering effective education. It's a missed opportunity, as the subject itself could be genuinely engaging and useful.

Great courses, and good selection of dates to choose from. They also have hybrid courses to decrease time spent in classroom which is a nice bonus, especially as a nurse who does not want to spend anymore time learning something they practice everyday.

Our instructor (Sukh) was knowledgeable and engaging during class. She was efficient and covered everything we needed to know. It was a good mixture of lecture and hands-on training. I will come back again to renew!

I just had a 2 day standard first aid training. The main teaching method was lecturing. It felt VERY long. No one enjoyed it. The instructor was friendly, knowledgeable and had a lot of experience relating to first aid. However, I expected scenarios, discussions, reflections, etc. None of that was on the menu. This means long boring days but also poor information retention and skill development. When I inquired about it, I was told scenarios are too expensive. I will look elsewhere for my recertification.

The instructor sarah is fantastic! She does a great job explaining all areas of the first aid /CPR with aed course, she's very precise and to the point with the material which is perfect. Awesome course!
