Compared to 6-16 hour wait times in Edmonton, our 20 minute wait to get a fish hook out of my finger was nothing! Polite Doctor with a good sense of humour (To help my bleeding ego) we were in and out with not so much as a hiccup! Health care as it's meant to be!

The lab department needs to start following appointment times more accurately and not 30 mins after appointments have elapsed its loss of time for patients waiting!

This was the most baffling experience I have had with a Healthcare provider. I just had to write a review. I walked in hoping to get a Tetnus shot. I Was told to wait in the waiting room until the doctor was done with the other patients. (I was the only person in the waiting room by the way).I Waited 20 minutes then I decided to get up and ask if maybe I was forgot about. Two employees were chatting at the desk foreshadowing no sense of urgency. They definitely werent dressed as administraion staff so I assumed they were doctors or nurses.I was told that they were too busy to give me a Tetnus shot. Wasn't even asked who I was or my Healthcare number. Just simply turned away and told to go to another Healthcare provider that was closed until the next day. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional.

The emergency was wonderful. We are from Ontario, took our daughter in on a Saturday at 8:15p.m. We were treated with respect and the nurses were truly sincere. We saw the doctor by 9:45 and had a perception and on our way out by 9:50.

The staff at the Athabasca Healthcare Centre are amazing! From the time I arrived in much pain(dislocated hip), they quickly diagnosed the problem, and corrected it. Everyone was professional, friendly and very caring! From the cleaning department, security, nurses, pharmacy, Doctors, front end staff, and physio/occupational, all worked together as one team, with the common goal of looking after you and making sure you where on the proper path to recovery. My only complaint was that the bird feeders in the court yard where empty and it would have been nice to watch the birds feed outside the windows. Tried to get ahold of the folks at admin. but was unsuccessful in receiving a reply. Otherwise, I would like to thank all the staff for going above and beyond!

Horrible service. Unprofessional staff. The nurses were super mean. They don’t care about their patients. Horrible Wifi. Definitely not coming back here. AHS should shut down this hospital.
