The reservation department at Banff Lodging Company are very professional and polite. Been trying to plan a trip for late June and early July and they have been quite helpful. Highly recommend planning a trip at one of their accommodations especially if you are unsure on exact dates. Thanks for the help.

If you choose to work for this company do NOT take the housing, the $10 a night might be tempting but it is not worth it. Everything has to be spotless all the time, no consideration for anyone, housing management is EXTREMELY rude and aggressive. House was spotless we rushed around all morning cleaning for inspection and it still wasn’t up to their standard as there was dishes in the sink (they inspected at 4pm and we were literally sat eating). Crammed into tiny rooms, with no consideration of the people they’re moving you in with. I was moved into a house the furthest away from my place of work, with no one who spoke english. Treated like children, no respect from the housing management team at all. The company barely pays minimum wage so private accom is almost not an option

We booked a wedding in Banff with a partner of Banff Lodging properties, who stated they get special discounts because of this relationship. The “discount” is the exact same one offered on the website to anyone who comes along to book. Because ours is a destination wedding and we will be bringing a ridiculous amount of business to Banff Lodging co., we asked if there was anything they offer to the wedding couple, as every other venue we viewed in both Canmore and Banff provided a complimentary hotel room to the wedding couple.
Their offer was 5% off their $700 a night room….. Honestly really disappointed in Banff Lodging Co. and its obvious lack of care for their guests. We are now doing what we can to ensure our guests book elsewhere. Not only are there plenty of other more affordable properties, we have a bit of a sore taste in our mouths about bringing so much business to a company that won’t do anything for us on a very special day, would rather see the money go elsewhere.

Gotta say 80+ rooms at minimum $400 a night for an average of 4 nights….. not good business to try to gouge the wedding couple on top of it.

if it's for career advancement avoid this company at all costs,
the management seems to favour turning a profit over employee wellness.
The benefits from the company are great... if you live IN banff, for those in the canmore sect, well tough luck.
when you first get hired you will be under the impression they will give you a bus pass to go to and from banff but that's not true.
They LOAN you one and if they're all taken well tough luck again.

Wage wise it's a fair bit lower than the going rate.

overall I'd rate the company a 2/5. great for working holidays, horrible for careers.

The room was spacious and clean. But contrary to what their website says, we were extremely disappointed with the handling of COVID during our stay. This company made no effort to rectify issues we had and has not deemed a priority to reply to my genuine concerns emailed to them during my stay about the poor service we recieving overall. I would encourage anyone considering booking to look at other options if quality of service is important to you.

Caribou properties are the holders of my timeshare. Since I bought three years ago they seem to have their priorities straight. The first year they fixed some infrastructure issues with the hot tub, pool, and main conference center. The second and third years they've invested in improving the suites. Improvements are constant. I don't know what they started with, but since I've been a member I've seen vast improvements in my investment.

This company is the opposite form what me and my friends expected. They don't even have enough housings for their employees, and they send them into hostels with bunk beds and 8 other people. It is really unorganized. I am disappointed and I don't recommend.
