Our daughter's experience at Airdrie Music Lessons has been absolutely wonderful. The diverse group classes, covering guitar, piano, drums, and singing, have provided her with not just musical education, but also the advantages of group support, motivation, friendship, and a fun atmosphere. Anthony's approach to these group lessons is truly outstanding, as he effortlessly combines his extensive knowledge, incredible sense of humor, and strong connection with his students. Our kids began attending Airdrie Music Lessons for Guitar and Piano this year. They had taken music lessons for close to a year prior and in the 5 months since they have been working with Anthony their progress has more than doubled. Our kids love going to their classes, they have learned the joy of playing music and LOVE Anthony. Anthony is an excellent teacher and it shows with his enthusiasm every time we see him with the kids. We are so grateful to Anthony and his staff for the pride they put into their studio. My oldest daughter has been taking guitar lessons with Anthony for almost 2 years now. I can't speak highly enough about the experience we have had with Anthony. She has learned so much in that time that people can't believe she's only been playing guitar for such a short time!
My daughter is a very quiet and shy girl, and the increase in her self-confidence alone has been amazing! Anthony has provided her with a solid foundation and self-confidence that I haven't seen before.

Anthony has a great style of teaching and is a very knowledgeable, patient and encouraging teacher. He makes learning fun and my daughter loves going to her weekly lessons! My daughter Sydney loves voice and guitar lessons with Anthony! He is an excellent music coach instilling confidence, technical progression and joy in his students. With voice lessons Sydney's comfort, confidence and vocal ability have increased substantially. Anthony has an innovative approach to guitar lessons as well. It amazed us how quickly our daughter was able to play multiple songs after she started guitar lessons. Such a joy to hear her play and sing. As a single mom, I have to be careful where I spend my dollars. I was worried I would spend money on music lessons for my children and they weren't going to practice or enjoy music and my money would go to waste.
My kids have been in lessons with Anthony for 3 years.
Anthony has fun with the kids, and he obviously likes people in general. He connects with the kids really well.
Anthony clearly enjoys making music, so my kids have taken to enjoying making music as well. Both of my kids always come out of music lessons happier than they went in. They have both also found success and confidence in their music with Anthony.
The best part about music lessons with Anthony is that he cares about each student and their growth individually, even though the lessons are in a group setting. Each of my kids feel like they are important and special to him.
Anthony explains the music to them and explains the why behind what they are doing and learning i.e. how vocal chords work, or why breathing is important, or scales. He encourages the guitar players to sing with their songs which is great. And he does an actual recording session onto a CD with his voice groups.
Anthony puts on 2 super professional concerts with the young musicians every year. He truly is developing them as people, not just teaching them music.
Anthony Burbidge goes above and beyond, I really couldn't recommend his program more highly. I'm a true fan.
