Thanks to her dedication and guidance, they have not only surpassed the school’s standard expectations, but their love for studying has also blossomed. Kumon has been wonderful and I would recommend this program (and location) for everyone. My daughter started the reading and writing program in Kindergarten and is doing amazing in grade 1. Kumon not only teaches them to read and write, it gives children the invaluable lesson that they can work through hard things and overcome them. My children have been going to Kumon for a few years. Slavka is so dedicated to them and ensuring they feel supported but are consistently challenged. She also helps us parents in making sure we are supporting our children's kumon learning and getting the most out of the program. Both my nine and seven year old have been in the math program since kindergarten. They are both far above grade level now and mastering math in school. Not to mention their confidence level has increased dramatically. I love how the program really focuses on a thorough knowledge of the basics and then has them build their skills and independence from there. If I had to go back and make the decision to sign them up again, I would in a heartbeat.
