This school would be my 4th school i have attended in my life grades 8 through 12 and graduated in 23 at this school. The first year of any school will always be difficult, speaking from experience as I for the second time in my education had to start from scratch with friends. However the people in this school are typically quite respectful, Most are pretty shy try their hardest not to interupt people and such. There are deffinatly your respected types of people within the school but i was never bullied, I have seen bullying in other schools but i have never seen it in this one. The students are also very good on bullying, many times have i seen what looks like picking on, to see random students step in in an attempt to stop whatever is going on, just to find out that it was just playful ness between two friends that resulted in both of them smiling and laughing at the end.

In regards to bad surrounding this school, things are overcrowded. You will get bumped around in the halls its gunna happen. A big thing for me as i was fortunate to drive myself to and from school during my 11 and 12 years was parking. The parking pass to park in the parkinglot was 100 dollers at the beginning of the year then would trickle down to 70 halfway through. And if you dont have a parking pass then you need to find parking elsewere. I made the mistake of using the parkinglot across the street for the beginning of my 11th grade which almost resulted in my car being towed.

In regards to the staff and admin, I was present in that school for 3 principal changes, and from my personal experience i havent had any issues with the admin, but that is just my experience. The teachers are all very kind and respectful however you must understand this is a highschool not daycare. Show the teachers some respect and they will repay the respect x10. If Mr Potvin is still there tell him his Oilers suck and that he should become a flames fan.

But in all seriousness i had a great relationship with pretty much all of the teachers, doing good and paying attention in their classes is the best way to do that. Read the room, and the teacher even if it takes years, having a good relationship with the teachers will make your classes 100% easier as this is highschool, you dont move on if you fail a class.

Only been here a few months, but its been such a great experience so far. The teachers are quite nice, and there is a wide variety of subjects and options, despite being a quite small for a high school.

As a student currently going here and have been for a year now, ignore the bad reviews, because this school is actually awesome and amazing 🙏🙏 The principal is just so sweet, at least as far as I can tell, (I haven't spoken to her much) and the teachers genuinely feel like they truly enjoy their jobs. There are so many resources for struggling students, and nearly every teacher is open to helping their pupils. There's a very casual, comforting air to the school, I personally feel rather safe there. Hardly any bullying either. And when there is, teachers nip the problem at the bud. All in all, a great school for the majority of students! (⁵ˢᵗᵃʳˢ=¹⁰⁰%ᵖˡˢ)

Worst school I’ve ever attended. Attended here for grades 8, 9, and 11. The roots of the issues start from the admin. Principles are very manipulative to students, and families. They continuously play mind games with the students, and make stuff up to protect their coworkers from facing the consequences for their actions. Had a teacher go through my phone the last year I attended because she thought I was cheating on a test, even though I clearly explained to her that I simply forgot to put it away. I never have cheated on an exam, and I take high priority in achieving success. I have important information such as passwords that I don’t want them seeing so this is a complete invasion of privacy going through my camera roll. Teachers like Ms Walpole are extremely unprofessional, and rude to students like myself. Lots of bullying, verbal abuse, and humiliation by this teacher. My grades have declined rapidly over the years I have attended this place. I’ve been diagnosed with Severe Anxiety Disorder, and Depression since leaving this toxic environment. Much better experience attending RVS.

Overall alright, but some of the students have done horrible things involving younger kids and stay unpunished. I believe this school cares more about girls' shoulders and forbidding people from changing their pronouns than actually making the environment a safer place.

Very nice staff and employees at the school very welcoming as well. The bathrooms smelt very nice like Berry’s unlike most high school bathrooms. Good team efforts in the sports while I watched GO KODIAKS!!!

Would not go to this school very bad and has given students emotional issues from the rude treatment by staff. Would recommend for them to expand the school and give students longer lunch and have students be aloud to bring tvs video games and stuff
