For the price, this is not worthwhile. It’s October, so cold outside. It’s incredibly hot in this room. I tried opening a window all night but it has zero effect. The rooms are a glorified dorm. Great view though. The location is about a 20 min walk to town. My shower this morning was also cold. I can’t tell if I’m being punk’d.

My stay at Lloyd Hall was a simply terrible experience. Don't waste you time.

There is NO air conditioning. It was +33C outside and hotter than that inside. This is the ONLY hotel I've ever stayed in that didn't have it, and I've stayed in places where little better than flop houses. There is no mention of this one the website, or in the confirmation email. They didn't mention it at check-in. We only found out when we complained after some time playing with the thermostat that clearly didn't seem to be hooked to anything.

This was also the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in. The pictures on the website are extremely deceiving with one even showing what looks like a suite. The room is little better than a tiny dorm room.

The complex is very badly laid out. After checking in (in a different building) you can't just drive over to Lloyd Hall, but must edit the Banff Centre, drive around it, and come back in a different entrance.

And this was more than $400 per night? I don't think so.

I would never stay here again, and not recommend it to anyone, even someone I didn't like.

Our conference manager Vernon was absolutely incredible!!! Always around and definitely quick on addressing any requests!!! Truly enjoyed our stay there!!!

Came here for a conference and stayed 7 nights. Rooms are not super large, but very well equipped and designed to be functional and have all you need. Amazing views of the mountains with a huge window at the foot of the bed. Furniture and fittings were all very modern, stylish, and worked perfectly. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom/shower was bright and clean, and shower temperature was hot and with good water pressure. Room was cleaned well and bed made up everyday.
Rest of the building is lovely and beautifully designed, with easy, mostly sheltered routes to Vistas Dining, and an underground sheltered route to the gym and sports facility which has a climbing gym, pool, cardio machines etc.
Very convenient to the conference venues, but also just a short (and beautiful) walk into Banff town, 15 minutes max.
Comes with coffee maker, TV, small fridge. My main wishes: (1) please add a kettle, as tea bags were provided, but there's no way to heat up water without using the coffee-maker; and (2) it would've been better if the shower had separate controls for temperature and how strong the water pressure was. You can basically only control temperature, the default water strength was very high and via a rain shower.

Room was clean. View was lovely however room was right over top of the shipping dock.😥 The decoration in room was Spartan but tasteful. Hallways very narrow. Disappointed that there is no proper breakfast in the vicinity. Just take out food at MacLab Bistro. Great! That one can use the Sally Borden pool and weight room. Good morning Laur

Not sure if this was worth the price. Views are excellent. There is no front desk. Our room did not get cleaned on our two night stay. Room is very small and reminiscent of a dorm room.

Although the rooms are small, they are tastefully decorated and minimalist. I could see the majestic mountains from the bed!

The coffee center was in a dark nook, but not the end of the world.

I was speaking at the conference centre and this room was great for inspiration to finish my presentation.

Nice modern touches with natural wood to make it feel homey.

The grounds are beautiful, complete with Elk!

My wife and I stayed here for a conference.
The room was fairly small, and nothing special, but that's not why you come here.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Location is great. Short walk to town on a trail. Beautiful views.
