What an amazing experience Kite Skiing with Ryan. The winds were howling, which was a great opportunity to learn about kite selection. Ryan brought a number of kite sizes for the variable weather we encountered.

Ryan and Mar were awesome! Great instructors with tons of patience, clearly skilled and knowledgable. We were beginners ranging from 9 to 55, they got us all up and going on the snow kites. Safety was top priority for Ryan but never a concern for our group under his guidance and watch. We are all hooked and will be back this summer so Ryan can get us moving on the water.

I took lessons with my brother from Ryan and Mar and would highly recommend both instructors to anyone else. The lessons started with safety instructions and drills as well as set up, and then they had us out flying kites with them to learn the basics. One big reason I would recommend them would be that they allow people to progress to the water quickly and at their own pace, which can not only give you more time to practice getting up and riding, but also save you money. Very friendly and encouraging instructors, can’t wait to get out snow kiting with them too!

Finally! Something to look forward to on a windy day I’d otherwise hate. First time Kite boarder here and had the greatest time ever, learning the ropes of this awesome up and coming sport. Ryan and his team are so good at teaching, in fact, that they even had me doing kite loops right off the bat. They provide all high quality gear required for the lessons as well as the necessary safety training to begin, which was great starting off a little nervous. Perfect for all ages, all year round (water, land and snow) I would highly recommend booking Ryan and Kite Alberta for any of your kite boarding and surfing needs.

Side note, they also sell the full kite set-ups which you’ll for sure want the second you give it a shot. Thanks again for the awesome day, Ryan.

Saw this advertised and thought it would be a fun way to shake the winter blues and was absolutely not disappointed. Ryan was amazing worked with me and my partner ahead of time to maximize our enjoyment on the day. Met us exactly when he said he would, and gave a thorough introduction and safety rundown allowing us to feel comfortable throughout the whole process. Got some sweet kiting in and a solid begging for how to move forward and improve. Before going in be warned after doing this you will want to keep going and if you are like me that means clearing out room in the gear closet, can't recommend enough.
