Where to start to describe how AMAZING this place is!!
From the minute we walked through the door, it has felt like we've found a new "home". The teachers are incredible and so welcoming, the other dance families have quickly become our friends and the owner Chaela is one of the most caring and genuine people I've ever met. Her love of dance and the peace it brings to her entire being can be felt all through the studio, the teachers, the students and the dance families. As a Mama of boy dancers, I have come to realize how "one sided" the dance world can be...Chaela and her team don't even bat an eyelash at my never ending questions or my requests for help, to allow my boys to be exactly who they are in their love of dance and performing. MVDA is a gift!!

My Daughter loves MVDA! She feels like she fits in, and is welcome. All the girls are encouraging her to be her best and the environment is low pressure. She dances 4-5 times every week and has really found a love for dance with this studio. Having been with the studio for a number of years, they handled themselves amazing through the pandemic and the teachers have worked with my daughter to really foster a passion for dance and grow her confidence. There is nothing she won't try and continues to push herself through Acro, and in Ballet as well as competing.

Mountain View Dance academy is such a wonderful community. Chaela has done a great job of creating such a welcoming, inclusive and safe environment where everyone is invited to take part! She has graciously answered all of my many questions from day one with my first time being a dance mom and still a few years later, she still makes us feel like part of a family! The teachers are wonderful and so many students are such great and kind helpers for the littles.

Both of my children and I all dance at the studio. We have been attending classes there since 2017. All of the instructors are phenomenal. The studio truly feels like our extended family. I’m so happy to have found such a supportive environment for my children to dance at.

My daughter started dance at Mountain View Academy when she was 18 months. She was dancing before she could walk so it seemed natural to put her in dance. I chose mountain view because we wanted a studio where she would not pick up a sassy attitude that was all about appearances. I just wanted her to flourish in her love for dance. To say that mountain view met my expectations is an understatement. She is turning 5 next week and she is always devastated when dance ends for the year. Her teachers have invested in her beyond just teaching her to dance. So much so that she asked (actually BEGGED) me to invite her dance teacher to her birthday party. The teachers there are my daughters second family. They give me advice on if/when I should let her fly and are also honest if something is not best for her. I once asked her if she would rather live at the dance studio and she said "YES!" If you are looking for a studio that will wholistically embrace your daughter and will focus on helping her to have an outlet to express herself while also nurturing her in an environment of inclusivity and security then I would absolutely say Mountain View, Hands down. We occasionally talk about moving out of Cochrane but then we always come back to "but thats too far from the studio." If you are looking for a studio that will help your student flourish, look no further. You've found it.
