Exceptional care and customer service. I cannot thank both Sterling and Kelly enough for their help. It was time for a new backcountry ski set up. Sterling chatted ski’s with me for hours, answered all my questions, encouraged me to do my research and come back in. When I came back in Kelly (a fellow wide footed brother) spent so much time with a ton of attention to detail helping get me into the perfect boot with lots of education and laughs along the way. They even got my set up in and dialed in same day!!!

I also got a wicked new bag and harness and can’t wait to get after some big missions with new gear to help support my adventures. Thank you guys so much. Exceeded my expectations. I’ll be back in for all my future needs.

I came in to get some adjustments on my touring boots and the team was really helpful and attentive. They had a great selection of boots and gear and I’ll definitely be back!

Kelly is a fantastic boot fitter- knowledgeable, caring and experienced, I went in because I thought need my boots punching out because I was getting hotspots and he explained whyI was getting hotspots and spent a good 30 mins measuring my arches and trying out different insoles with me, and then an extra 20 minutes after that teaching me how to do my boots properly which no one had ever taught me how to do it and I was definitely not doing it correctly. I definitely felt like he would have spent hours helping me if I’d needed it, and clearly loves his job. My first tour yesterday with my new insoles and boots done up properly made a world of difference. If you need a boot fitting go here.

Had some time to kill so we were checking out some shops.. and we came upon Vertical Addiction... when we walked in... we realized that this was probably not in a shop suited for us.. LOL.. the employee was super friendly and we started chatting! He asked some really good probing questions and next thing I was trying on a pair hiking shoes..
He was super awesome and he went over a couple of styles/ brands and picked out a couple of pairs to try on that would suit my needs! I ended up purchasing a pair of shoes. Got to try them out tonight and they were awesome!!
Thank you so much for getting me into the right pair of shoes ( my knees thank you!)

I am extremely happy with the service at the store. It's my first time to visit the store as I had been a loyal customer at MEC for years. Unfortunately they don't have the kind of La Sportiva I was looking for. I have been happy with my Ultra Raptor which has been good to me in the last three summers. This time, I'd like to try the TX4 Evo and Vertical Addiction carries them. I did not mind driving from Calgary to get the boots I need. The staff who helped me speaks the scrambling/climbing language, so I knew right there I was at the right place. But what stood out the most is the staff's insistence on me to try the boots on stairs and climbing wall rather than coming back to return the boots. He said when that happens, he did not do his job right in the first place. That is customer service at its finest. I think they got my loyalty and will come back for my scrambling needs in the future.

Great pricing and service, glad to have these guys here, nice to finally have some competition for climbing/mountaineering gear
