I received the class as Christmas gift and I was nervous about the pasta making. I am a horrible baker and don't make pizza dough. I felt this had the makings of tough evening for me. The class turned out to exceed all expectations. We all learned to make the dough together and as inexperienced as I was, we all managed to succeed and make pasta. The group atmosphere was fun and inviting and our chef was knowledgeable and patience. She answered all questions, helped with techniques and even showed some of the tricky parts multiple times. I highly recommend checking out this experience with your parnter or a group of friends. I loved it and had a fabulous experience.

Most importantly - food and staff were equally amazing and I'm so glad I went! Very close to giving this 5 stars. My only issues are minor, but notable. First, the format of the class is essentially the whole group works together to make a meal. Not a bad thing, but it just means you don't get to do everything. A little less hands-on, but that also means we were able to cook more dishes (we did three different kinds of tacos). So it's a bit of a trade off; neither good nor bad... just neutral. On that note, I don't know that I would pay that much for this kind of class, but I'm sure the cost is fair given how much groceries cost and the time spent by the whole staff. Again, a neutral comment (and this is my first ever cooking class, so what do I know!?).
So, I don't really have anything negative to say - I enjoyed the evening and was thoroughly impressed by all the staff. This would be a GREAT activity for a group or make an excellent gift for anyone who likes cooking even a little bit. I'm definitely going back and will recommend it to friends!

I've now taken 3 classes here, and I love it. Each class you learn amazing tips and tricks that you can easily use at home to enhance your regular meals and skills to make something special. The chefs are professional and approachable, very easy to ask questions, and you can participate as much or as little as you would like with no pressure. The group setting is small and with everyone there to learn, the vibe is relaxed.

I have attended the sushi, creole and cut pasta classes and I've taken something from each class and use it almost every meal at home. I am totally hooked and will be attending more classes in the future.

This is my second review. I decided to up my rating to 5 stars after my second class. Why? What I found was that some people enjoy just being there while others (me) like doing more hands-on cooking. So there’s something for everyone! Also, regardless of your involvement, I’m sure everyone would pick up some really valuable tips for any dish you make. And I would again like to say how much I enjoyed the staff. Such a great night! Looking forward to class #3!

There is no better place to learn the tricks and recipes for specialized cooking. Period.
Their chefs are absolutely experts in their field - they exude professionalism from the way they handle their knives to the way they handle people who think they know it all. A fabulous night out I can't recommend enough. Every single time I come away with a mind blown.

Kathryn is fantastic at Get Cooking. She teaches a follow along cooking class filled with food chemistry in order to learn about food and have a great meal afterwards. Throughout the entire lesson i was thinking how awesome it was to be in the hands if a pro.

I have also never eaten a Minestrone soup so good! All the food was excellent, and I would recommend anyone try the cooking class!

Hosted my staff Christmas party at Get Cooking and it was wonderful. Kathryn was easy and amazing to work with. Her team and she made delicious food. The space was a perfect place to have a private function. I would highly recommend her and go to her again for an office party or a cooking class!

My partner and I did the sushi class. Kathryn did an excellent job leading the group, we had so much practice and SO MUCH FOOD! I will be back in the future and highly highly recommend coming here.
