I went here back around 2009. I didn’t experience bullying, however it was a rougher school with kids of all kinds. Trouble could be found if you were looking for it. There were frequent fights with students of the school (H.E.) across the field. If you minded your business, you were fine. The teachers were normal, a few crabby ones but I don’t blame them. I loved junior high and my friends here.

With all this said, I would not send my kids here now based on all the bullying comments and lack of discipline, based on previous reviews. It seems it has gone downhill, which is unfortunate.

DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE this school sucks there are cases of racism and some kids are homophobic. There is lots of bullying in this school and discrimination the teachers here are pervs or just useless 1 to 3 good teachers at best. The principal does nothing and the vice principal does almost everything. Kids also deal and do weed in the bathroom and on the field at lunch some students also would get "busy" in the bathroom. The school does not care about the environment. If you get bullied and tell a teacher they would most likely say that it's your fault and not the people bullying you. This school does not clean it good all they do is shovel the snow away and don't throw ice salt on it causing kids to trip and get injured. The teachers at this school are very strict and will send you to the office if you do something barley wrong. This school also balrey has a dress code. That is all I have to say about this horrible school

The teachers help a lot if you have trouble with your work, also everyone is very kind they all have a great personality. One of the best teachers Mrs.fuga is the best if you do go here give her a big high five!

Absolutely awful school. I would rate it no stars if I could. My eldest child attended this school for ninth grade this year. He was treated extremely badly by staff, students, and office members and wasn't the only one. The principal was the main problem, constantly harassing, following, and criticizing my child. at one point him and his best friend were pulled into a secluded empty classroom by the principal, to be told they were not to be seen walking together and hanging out, outside of their classroom, when they are in the same class and only ever felt comfortable and safe with one another due to the relentless bullying from fellow classmates as well as staff. This conversation only took place because they were always around each other due to those comfort reasons.

There were a few decent teachers my child and others were genuinely comfortable around and who they felt they could come to. I won't name names due to what I am about to say but even these specific teachers agreed that the principal and vp were in the wrong in most cases and never had the students best interests in mind. I have a younger daughter who will sadly be attending this school because all the others nearby are full.

I sadly wasn't aware of the conditions and situations taking place at this school before it was too late. I now have to wait until next year to enroll her elsewhere. I'm saying all this in hopes that you won't make the same mistake as I did with sending your child to this school, and wishing with all my might that the environment of this school changes ASAP.

It isn't just the staff, the other students bully one another to the extent of SEVENTH GRADERS bring MACE and KNIVES to school for their own protection. The bullying experienced here is much worse than the general bullying presented at any school. I hope reading this gives some fellow parents insight on how inconclusive, unfair, and unsafe this school has been.
0/10 definitely do NOT recommend.

My son's were all taken care of and educated well by the staff and teachers at the school. It was a good place for their growth emotionally and mentally.

THis school is the worst if u bring your child here you’ll literally mental down them my lil brother went there and I did and the principal literally lies ab stuff or switches up the story or doesn’t even help out with serious problems and the kids there are just wannabe ghettoes and this one teacher my brother had her than she would barley help him out and stuff and he told me she would yell at the class a lot and treats people differently I think the teacher is like room 7 or 6 I don’t remember and kids vape in the washrooms or do nasty stuff. It’s just a terrible school in general I don’t recommend it there👍🏼

one of the teachers at the school has called multiple girls out for showing the littlest bit of skin when is absolutely no dress code.

the male students in my class will take photos of me which makes me feel very uncomfortable.

but other than that the school is pretty good the teachers are good and the vice principal and principle are very strict about no bullying and will not tolerate it.
