Very fun school has lots of stuff and and and like. Yeah, it has its ups and Downs but still and if you like music and stuff it's good for people like that and just for people that want drama or anything. And like it's not like those normal school that has the stage and folds down. And to me I'm just what about school. It's amazing school and like all the staff are nice there like the hallways are clean and like the people are kind there, so like yeah.

I attended Victoria from 2018-2019, the cheer instructors are incredibly emotionally and physically abusive towards children. I was physically assaulted by one of the instructors mid February 2018 at the high school cheerleading world championships in Orlando, Florida. The incident was promptly covered up and the instructors still work there. Strongly recommend you send your children elsewhere.

I'd say it's overall okay, not the best place though, it would be a good schools if it wasn't in downtown Edmonton.
Drugs, alcohol, smoking, weed etc are also common in JUNIOR high, student services is a load of hot garbage, they absolutely give no shits about anyone.
The area is sketchy, you have to watch out for yourself if you take public transit because there's people who are totally wasted and high on every street corner, and I'd say that the only benefit that the school has is an Asian supermarket across the street and a handful of really cool teachers.
If you have other options, I'd advise that you'd go somewhere else.

This school definitely was an okay school however, when I did go here there was big bully problems and teachers would sometimes deal with it but not very good.
Some of the teachers were very kind and still to this day my favourite teacher but, there were a few here and there that were kinda mean.

My trans son was very excited to attend this school 2 years ago as it had a great reputation for the arts and inclusivity. Those days appear to be gone. Vaping, drug use and stealing is rampant among the student population and my son was bullied mercilessly because he refused to join in with the illegal acts. Even the teachers bullied the kids in their classrooms, calling them stupid, brain dead or having the brain of a goldfish. When I called the Principal to complain about this teacher, he excused her behaviour "because she's pregnant" and "she'll be off on maternity leave soon". This school is not what it used to be.

Caring teachers and staff, excellent arts programs and resources, lots of options to choose from. Especially for students looking to work in the arts, the learning experiences they have available here are impressive.

I learned from another parent that Victoria may be the only school that offers IB programming at the elementary level.

Not the most competitive school sports-wise, but they do instill a lifelong love of physical activity and community through sport, with special attention to achieving your personal best.

A few issues with bullying over the years, but they were dealt with quickly and fairly. Very inclusive, with opportunities for students to participate in and lead clubs at all levels, from elementary to high school.

Overall, very glad to have this school in our neighbourhood.

Vic is overrated. They don't have anything there that another school can't offer you. Said they pride themselves on community, yet there was little events going on and the school is very clique-y. If you haven't been there since kindergarten, good luck making friends. According to a couple others who are previous graduates of Vic, its been this way for decades. Apparently, theyre also infamous for nepotism and accepting bribery.
Their productions are top-notch, though.

i attend this school and read the reviews and was offended i am new here and everyone is so nice it is a great school and the teachers are great it is so easy to make freinds i made one on first day and two on the next
