Have taken lessons at EDC on and off for about 3 years. Great place to learn Latin Dancing! Sometimes you have up to 3 teachers (Sydney, Laureen, and Alex Espinoza) in you class at the same time. Whether you want to social dance, perform, or both, this is a great place to level up your dancing!!!

I've been with EDC for about a year now. Sydney, Laureen and Alex are amazing instructors. I joined the studio with little dance experience, but they're always very patient and super fun! Mastering salsa and bachata is challenging at times, but I'm glad I chose EDC :). Now I'm on performance teams, and I'm so grateful that they give opportunity to even new dancers like myself. I recommend EDC to anybody who's thinking of taking Latin dancing classes.

I am a very quiet guy, an introvert who does not really talk or interact much with people I do not know well. It is just very hard for me to make the first move and hold a conversation with someone I do not know that well, but coming to EDC Studio was a game changer for me.

My first dance experience was actually with ballroom dancing at the university dance club, but then I was too shy to ask the instructors for help or ask someone to dance with so my progress was very slow. Then I found EDC Studio, and do not get me wrong I was and am still very shy in terms of asking people to dance hence I do not social dance, but the 3 main instructors at EDC Studio, Sydney, Alex, and Laureen, are all very friendly and approachable, especially Sydney, the director of EDC Studio. She just has this extraordinary present that makes you feel very comfortable to interact with, you can ask her anything in regards to dance and she will pour her heart out to try and answer your question to the best of her knowledge and the most important thing is she never makes you feel that you are not worthy on the dance floor. Having the privilege of dancing at EDC since its inception back in 2019, I have seen what Sydney had gone through to date and yet she always showed up to the studio with a lovely smile on her face, somehow she has this special ability to always lift you up in life through her dance. As for the most memorable moment dancing at EDC these years, is this one line from Sydney:

"One step at a time, One thing at a time, and you will get there"

So, if dancing is always something you wanted to try but are too shy to take the big step forward, I will highly recommend that you check out EDC Studio because Sydney will make a world of a difference for you through her superb personality and dance skills. She will make a dancer out of you as long as you have the desire to dance with no prior dance experience needed.

I have been going to EDC Studio since October 2019 as an experienced social dancer. The instructors were able to correct my technique is easy to digest pieces. Aside from technique, my musicality, partner and shines have improved which gives me a ton of confidence on the dance floor. I recommend this studio to beginners and experienced dancers!

This studio has become my second home with the friendly and supportive environment.

EDC studio is a down to earth, come as you are kinda place. It doesn’t matter what level or shape you’re in. This studio can work with anyone as long as you can show up. I love the dance family atmosphere here where we not only learn to dance but also do life together. Come expecting to meet amazing people, new friends and build confidence and skill!!
