I was in this school for 3 years from 2020 to 2022, first mister niven’s class, then ms harding I thing her name was?
I honestly found that this school was really welcoming to basically anyone. They would take their students seriously and respond better then any school to stuff like bullying, or a teacher treating kids badly. As a pansexual person, no one really gave a shit. Maybe I just lucked out with my class but pretty much all classes were friendly with each other.

This school did a great job at teaching subjects I had a hard time grasping, as a kid who’s constantly moving around and doesn’t stay long enough to learn properly, this school was like a reset.

Loved this school wish I could go back.

I absolutely loved Ecole Dickinsfield School. I was in the English Imersion class from 1996-2003.

I was in the very first 4/5/6 split class, and I have often wondered whether the class is still operating or not. I found being in that class in grade 4 + 5 gave me a huge advantage over other students. We learned how to analyze information, extract important information, and present it in the easiest way to read possible. We also did extra projects on topics of our choice which meant we were engaged and learning about things that sparked our interest. Overall I am extremely happy that I was chosen to be in Mrs.Ball's 4/5/6 split in 2000 & 2001.

At the time we had Mrs.Baczuk as the school music teacher and she was the most highly respected teacher in the entire school. Looking back - she was by far one of the best teachers in the entire school. I learned so much in her class and often wished I joined choir or band to expand on my interest in music. She was often regarded as militant or grumpy - but she wanted the best for us, and had little patience for students who were not there to learn. To this day I can still remember most of the music lessons that we learned from kindergarten - grade 8. She could make an entire gymnasium of rowdy students be quiet with the clap of her hands.

Ecole Dickinsfield School is a French immersion school, which means we
were exposed to french early on. We took mandatory French classes from grade 4 to grade 8. Being that it is a public school - I find it interesting that so much emphasis was put on french as a second language. It gave me the necessary skills to continue learning French as an adult.

Terrible school, went there from kindergarten to grade six. The leader in me program goes way to far, to the point were it becomes annoying and takes away from class time. The principal doesn’t do his job properly, the principals don’t do anything if you’re being bullied, we weren’t given nearly enough time to eat lunch and the leader in me assembly we had to go to each week was god awful. There aren’t any opportunities for older students to do anything fun and after about grade four they don’t care about you anymore. Some of the teachers were really good, but the rest of the school sucks.

Went to this school from Ecdp to grade 6. I have been through the 3rd grade twice. I am now in 11th grade. This school has a good percentage of good teachers except for some of the French teachers, can be pretty aggressive for no reason. Overall this school has helped me shape the person that I am now.
