We started my daughter 5 months ago and it has been such a wonderful experience.
We have seen my daughter’s confidence soar, her ability to read and write improve significantly. Her classroom teacher said her improvements with reading and writing are impressive. Christina, the Fort Saskatchewan Kumon teacher, is so devoted to the success of her kiddos and her passion for teacher is so appreciated! She helps her students and parents to get a routine and great study habits.
We are also learning how to work with her on her homework and it has been going better then we could even imagine.
It is definitely worth it!

Covid really damaged the learning process for kids. My daughter included. Kumon has allowed my daughter to pull her reading up to grade level, she was starting grade 4 with a kindergarten reading level. She had a hard time with the sounds, 1 year working on Kumon and she is at grade level!!!! I can not say enough amazing things about the team and kumon. 100% recommend, we only do the reading tutoring, but math is available too.

A good friend of mine has her son in Kumon and shared her positive experiences with me. I decided to give it a try. My girls started Kumon 3 months ago and the progress they’ve made so far is amazing! I immediately noticed a huge boost in their confidence and passion for learning. Kumon set a positive studying and learning structure for my girls! They went from hating homework to enjoy it. Cristina is extremely kind, patient and professional. She provides excellent communication when it comes to progress updates. Kumon has helped us all when the going gets a little tough! Highly recommend!!

My children have benefited from being in this program as they are always appropriately challenged and learning important techniques. It also teaches accountability and responsibility. No matter how difficult the homework, they want to keep going, which is a testament to how they find it helpful and enjoyable at the same time. Receiving validation and rewards for their hard work has been such an inspiration for them, too. Cristina and her staff have been very patient in providing guidance and encouragement and have been accommodating of my family's ever changing schedule as well. I would recommend Kumon to anyone, and this centre in particular is a great one to go to.
