So i was out with a bunch of buddies tonight and we decided to get some offsales from the gibbons hotel, we had phoned previous, beforehand and realized who we spoke to, seemed pretty annoyed and unprofessional. Later found out that by purchasing the offsales from them, it wouldve cost me $50 for an 8 pack of budweiser. never ever will consider going to them.

So we moved to Gibbons 6 months ago and have been to the tavern side of the hotel several times now and have not once been disappointed. Atmosphere is authentic, food is well above bar quality and the service could not be any better. Special shout out to Trish who is seemingly single handedly operating this place and is quite the asset to the Gibbons Hotel Tavern.

Is there a way to get hold of someone, nobody is here and I need to check in ?

Unfortunately for the price of a single occupancy... nor even coffee in the room.. quite disappointed. Staff was pleasant. Very noisy and plenty of drunk people around and some fighting and arguing. Not such a pleasant experience.. sorry

I checked in at the bar as per usual the girl was super sweet and efficient had me checked in under 5 mins. The room was typical but all i need was a bed and shower which both were very good renos and such. Good pillows which is important to me. Overall it served the purpose. Thanks Gibbons hotel.

Description of renovations on website were grossly exaggerated. Bed sheets had literal cum wads in multiple spots. Only 1 person serving the tavern and hotel while the rest of them lounged around the tavern. She did her best, but there's only so much one person can do. Tavern had more flies than a corpse. Literally the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I would rather sleep in a tent in the gravel parking lot with no foam pad.

The hotel has had some renovations, they could stand to up grade a little more. The main thing for me was, it was clean. BUT DO NOT let any staff member go out of your sight with your credit card. Someone on staff there appears to be stealing credit card numbers and ordering things online. The lady that waited on me, took my credit card out of my sight and a couple of weeks later, there was a $1600. charge on my credit card. Was it her? I can't say that with certainty but that is the only time my credit card was out of my sight. You be the judge!! BUYER BEWARE!

We stayed in the Hotel having arrived late and found the pub open where we ate supper. The menu was good Pub food with an excellent waitress cooking and serving it. The rooms were a bargain and the Pub waitress insured the room was in good condition for us. This Hotel has been recently renovated and the room was clean and comfortable. The next morning we had a very good breakfast in the restaurant served by a nice waitress who worked hard to insure our experience was a good one.
