Found a kitten in the highway that had been hit by a vehicle. The Lac La Biche Humane Society was there to help when I could not find any other resource available. I appreciate the efforts and how amazingly kind they were.

I have gotten 2 amazing animals from the Lac La Biche Humane Society.

Violet had come to them in rough shape, she had an amazing foster who gained her trust while she awaiting being adopted. When she came home with me, she didn't take long to warm up to our family. We were told of her injuries and any needed surgeries that would be necessary to give her a happy life.

We also adopted an amazing kitten from there.

They do amazing work at the shelter!! Despite a serious lack of help from the community and its citizens.

Very great worker who worked there on August 31st!!!! Great customer service skills!! Even though she only been working there for 2 weeks, she knows what she is doing. Great handling of pets, took in a cat I brought into her and showed great compassion. Awesome Job!!!!

Do not adopt from here. Doesn't disclose animal medical history. Works with a incompetent vet. Will breach your privacy. Lies about animals health. Doesn't properly introduce animals, just says they are good with things. Doesn't understand dog breeds. Doesn't let dogs out enough. Is a disgrace for all rescues. Doesn't take in animals in need of care. Scammers with prices of animals. Drive to another rescue. Doesn't treat fosters right. Invades privacy. Got a kitten from here with severe brain and neurological issues that weren't not disclosed. Now I am forced to spend money for my poor girl who is just over a year old. She most likely won't make it till 2. Until confronted wouldn't disclose anything. Plays favorites. Board leads are all a bunch of old women, no new voice. Doesn't help the community. Waste of tax dollars. Go to Edmonton or Cold Lake or Red Deer or Calgary or anywhere but here. You WILL not get the animal your expecting. Look at the 2022 parade incident. Look at the all the failed adoptions. Look at how they can't control fights in the comments from top fans. Rescues open for half the time, are doing thousands times better. They don't put the animals first. I'm not the only one. I will continue to advocate against lac la biche regional humane society, by telling one by one everyone i meet the horror of this incorrectly incompetent discriminating " Rescue "

They are awesome. Taking care of homeless and abandoned animals. Re homing the animals as well as ensuring they have vaccinations and are spayed or neutered.

Tried to call them but they do not have a after hour's number to call for help .......they need one or put a number on there site for after hours u can call for help ......just saying.....
