Graduated from MRU in 2019 - the program was fantastic. It offered me a ton of opportunity to work with professors on research projects, to explore entrepreneurial opportunities and to work with real clients. The campus is great and the class sizes are small.

You can get a lot of of Mount Royal by looking for opportunities beyond attending class.

I would recommend the university to anyone seeking a more personal university experience

The school is very good. They have student’s interest at heart. Class size is small and enhances students full participation. Students can choose which class time suits them. Team work is encouraged. I recommend 🔥

have nephew going to Mount Royal, told us about staying at university during summer in dorms as hotel. about half the price of hotel have stayed during stampede and Other times. kitchen ,living area separate bedroom. they are clean and we'll be back definitely.

Don't bother applying to this place. They to be hiring with urgency and tell candidates that no matter what, you'll hear from them. NOPE. Even after an email sent to the hiring manager, no response. The hiring process is a waste of time for the interviewee and the staff of the university.

Excellent University that provides top tier education and also phenomenal classroom experience. If you want Staff, Professors...A University that reallt gives a damn about your education and future, come to Mount Royal University. You wont regret it. The food you can buy on campus is affordable and delicious, there are various locations to study and the library is gorgeous.

The campus in general is pleasing to the eye and the bus routes are fair. Students seem to be more outgoing and develop an extrovert personality overtime. Professors are approachable and know their shit. Classroom sizes are small and make interactions with peers easier.

Mount Royal is like a second home. I highly recommend this university to upcoming undergraduates.

Update - Been a couple years, but I am supporting as an alumni. Nothing has changed in terms of culture and what makes MRU great. The staff are here to facilitate success.

Screw MRI parking! It's like a thousand dollars per semester to park, but if you back into a space you get ticketed or towed! And there's no parking anyways, not enough lots. If I'm paying a thousand bucks a semester to park 4 times a week, I should get to park how I want!

Worst experience so far. Freshly graduated Highschool and applied for an online program, required thousands of dollars, multiple blood tests and vaccinations which didn’t really bother me, but when it came time to actually get to the course, I was told that I was rejected because I did not do an introductory online course. I was not told of this, or where I could find it. After 16 (thats right, 16 emails) somebody had finally told me where to find it on the website. Spent another $300 for that intro course, but was not told how to access it or how to complete it. When I emailed again I was told that I was rejected because I did not do the intro course. I have wasted lots of funds that could have gone to a better school with more helpful staff. I work minimum wage and have to pay for myself, I had saved for months only to have my money basically scammed from me. Do not go to this university if you do not know the exact processes and procedures of your course. So insanely unhelpful, frustrating, and cruel. The website is messed up completely, I cannot login to my account, I had tried to change my password and everything. I don’t know what happened but I feel like they deleted my account completely. My parents told me that I am a failure for getting rejected from university, but I’ve had no help at all. None of my family has gone to university and I have gotten no advice from the staff at MRU. Please save your money and sanity. Do not go here.
