This is by far the worst campsite we've ever stayed at. As the only campsite in Prince Rupert, the owner can charge inflated prices for unfit services. The campsite is for sale and there appears to be no pride in ownership.||A good portion of the entire site is used by long term tenants who live there and they also seem to be a storage place for trailers and boats as it is obvious many such items have been parked there for some time. The campground seems to have a lot of "junk" lying around.||There are 3 levels of parking to fit everyone into the gulley. The road around the campsite is not paved or graveled and instead seems to be hard packed fine dirt - which unfortunately becomes muddy with the morning dew.||It cost $52.50 for our truck and camper with electricity. The slot where we parked was on the middle level and was barely long enough to fit our truck. There was a large creosol covered log at the end of the slot so that you did not drive over the embankment. There was no grass (just dirt) and no picnic table. Our back door of the camper was approximately 6 feet from the neighbors fire ring and our electrical connection pole was between us and that fire ring.||The bath house should probably be condemned. I don't think any updates have been made since it was built and it appears to be very old. It has not been cleaned in a very long time. The fan above the showers had no cover and there was long strands of mildew covered lint (?) hanging out. An electrical plugin at ground level had no cover making this a safety hazard for children. One toilet was out of order and 2 toilet stalls did not have doors that closed/locked. The showers were functional and had hot water. The shower stalls have home-made wooden benches and no hooks. We all know some people need to sit down to dress after a shower. It would be impossible to sanitize the wooden benches!!||They advertise that there is free wifi but we were not able to connect to it.||Prince Rupert is losing out with this campground!! We left after only one day as there was not a decent place to camp.

Location and proximity to the ferry terminal are good. That's it for the positive.
Sites were very dirty and smelled of creosote, campground was noisy, new arrivals came at 1:00 a.m, on either side of us.
Washrooms and showers were ok. Seems like quite a few long term tenants are there, not so much a negative but just a comment.

Worst experience ever on our Alaska adventure. Totally off the chart rude owner. Asked us to get off her property before we reached our site because we drove about 6 inches onto her lawn (we have a 37’ Class A and the roads are narrow) and then had the audacity to tell me that she was charging us because we didn’t cancel within 72 hours prior to our arrival. Keep in mind that she asked us to leave. Had to file a dispute with our credit card company and that is how we were reimbursed. A horrible experience but luckily Kinnikinnick Campground came to our rescue..

This campsite is lovely. My husband I stayed a week in a truck camper. Our 3 grandsons stayed in a tent in the same site. Campground is clean and quiet. Bathrooms and showers are clean. Staff are friendly. You pay for firewood at the the office and it is delivered to your site.
