I started at CFL after COVID and have had an amazing experience! I originally made the switch from public school to the online school program due to Covid however enjoyed it so much that I wanted to continue my education through the Centre for Learning. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here and I am so glad that I have able to do grades 8-12 with CFL. I have had so many amazing opportunities with CFL that I would not have been able to have if I had gone anywhere else such as graduating a whole year early thanks to the amazing teachers and programs, running my baking business, travelling, spending more time with family, attending different events and going on so many awesome field trips. I love how flexible and understanding everyone is at CFL and whenever I needed help someone was able to help me with my school right away.
Throughout my time here I have never had any issues and appreciate how great everyone and everything is with CFL.I would high recommend the online school at Centre for Learning at Home!

This is a very good school. And Ms Jacqueline Yu is truly amazing. She guided and advised my son to complete his high school in two years and this September, he is enrolled into university - one year ahead of his peers. He couldn't have done it without Ms Yu guidance, really. She's amazing and she cares for the student from her heart. This is a great school!. Thank you!

My daughter has attended 2 years in a row (grade 10, 11) and has taken 3 classes through St. Paul's. The teachers have been super supportive and have been there for her every step of the way. I HIGHLY recommend this school!

This is a wonderful school, best one I've been to. My first year here was the seventh grade, and now I am going into the eighth grade and plan to stay at this school until I graduate!
This may be different for you depending on your classes, year and CFL@Home changing this schedule, but last year, I only had online zoom classes on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. All other days I could do my work at my own pace and catch up. Each class I had was only 40 minutes long, meaning I spent around 2.5 hours attending zoom classes per day. Turning on your camera or microphone is completely optional, unlike most in-person schools switching to online during early covid. You can also communicate with your classmates when you're not in a class, through the class's "discussions" pages.
It does take at least a couple of weeks to know how to properly use Canvas, the website you use to get to your classes and schoolwork (extra note:not all schoolwork is printed, you have some online lessons, assignments, and even tests.), but you can always get help by emailing a teacher or talking with classmates. Overrall, this school is a five star for me and even though it is very different from normal school, I got educated well and can't wait to start the eighth grade here.

Excellent school with high standards. The school's teachers are very well educated and the programs fit well and are flexible. I am in my eighth year with this school and my kids are doing very well to the point of where my relatives who are teachers dedicated to the public system are admitting that homeschooling is very good.

I’m a student at this school and comparing this school to other CBE schools it’s amazing! I understand the topics better than I would in an in-person school, the teachers and some the students attending are really kind and well mannered and the support from the teachers is always helpful!!

I have done school here for two years (6-7) and for me. The school itself is fine, but the people sucked. For example we brought a printer and a laptop from them with our government school money abd they said if you do school for a full year you get to keep it and i was just told i have to give those back. Also with basically any other communication thing there was always problems with it. And for everything was after the fact and horribly communicated.This is the worst communication for a school that i have ever seen.

Excellent experience with this school board! Teachers are all more than qualified and made homeschooling a joy. They incorporate many activities that give the feel of homeschool, but benefits of public school. Highly recommend!
