I love the staff at Camilla school! They are all so kind and caring. The environment they create for the students and their families is so welcoming. It’s a very tight knit community and I know that the staff will do everything to keep my kids safe every day. I attended Camilla school when I was a kid and because of how wonderful my experience was growing up I opted to send my kids as well and I am so glad that I did. Not only have I created some amazing connections with staff and parents but my children have such great friends.

Moving to this community 11 years ago, we did not do any research on available schools before having kids. And I have to say that we were so very lucky to have landed where we are. Especially with Camilla school. Camilla has been such a great and welcoming experience into our new community. They have taken our children under their wings as if they are their own. The staff knows every one’s names is always looking out for their safety and has given us the proper opportunities to help our children do their best in the areas that they need help and have gone above and beyond. Myself, going to city schools my entire life, it was incredible to the obvious contrast in how the children are treated in the beautiful new rural school. The school has been well built and they have put in a lot of thought and effort into what they needed and wanted most and it show! Thank you Camilla staff for welcoming our family with open arms for the last 8 year!

Camilla school fosters an inclusive culture, it’s easy to stay connected even though families are spread out across the county. Teachers are caring and compassionate, and are extremely flexible with personal communication needs. The support staff are EXCEPTIONAL. I see daily examples of staff going above and beyond for our community. We have no shortage of committed volunteers, rounding out our team. For me personally, I appreciate our school councillor and having access to the RQB arena for skating. I’m grateful for our school.

Camilla School is a school about community and caring. My daughters have been going to this school since they started school and are now in grades 7 and 5. My youngest daughter has Autism and has always been provided with loving support, as have we as parents. I have been brought to tears more than once by her EA and other members of the staff who go above and beyond in how they care for her. Their kindness and support, for both my daughters, has been more than I ever hoped for. If you want a loving , supportive school, this is it.

My kids just started attending Camilla school in September as we recently moved to Sturgeon County. I have one child in grade one and one in grade 4 both my children are thriving. They love their teachers, and the teachers are very involved and truly care about the academic success of the students.

Camilla has great sports teams and awesome coaches that commit their own time to help make a great experience for the kids.
The teachers are all kind and work hard to make a positive learning environment.
We are so lucky to have a new school with so many great features and areas for the kids to enjoy.
The students and families at camilla really are a great bunch of people. I love the camilla cheer.

An outstanding K-9 rural school with pre-K program as well. Successful outcomes in both the academic and athletic programs. A beautiful new school with staff that go above and beyond to foster a deep sense of community and citizenship with and for the students. High parent involvement.
