Edison is a truly exceptional school! The teachers are caring, empowering, and dedicated to helping students discover their strengths while providing a supportive environment to work on their weaknesses without fear of judgment.

The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to prepare students for success in post-secondary education. While the mathematics program is challenging, there is extra support available for students who need it, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to succeed.

One of the standout aspects of Edison is the strong sense of community fostered between the upper, middle, and lower schools. It’s inspiring to see students of all ages working together throughout the year, creating a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere.

I’m especially impressed by how engaged the students are and the love for learning they develop here. The school also emphasizes public speaking and second-language instruction starting in kindergarten—skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.

Edison is a place where children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

I have been in Edison for the past 6 years, and now as I approach graduation, I am very thankful for everything Edison has done for me. The owner, Mrs. Chernoff, may be strict but she always has the best interest for everyone at heart. The teachers are all very nice and incredibly helpful. One of Edison’s best qualities is it’s small class sizes and the community of students who all aspire to achieve great things. Being surrounded by driven and successful people has truly influenced me to also push myself, and today I feel well-prepared for my post secondary studies. Thanks to Edison, I now have the opportunity to study law abroad at one of the best universities in the United Kingdom, a feat I believe was only possible because of my experience here. Overall, Edison is a wonderful school that has the abilities no other school can provide.

Enrolling me at Edison School was one of the best decisions my family made when I was growing up. Edison’s small class sizes, dedicated teachers, and academic-focused curriculum pushed me to build a strong foundation of learning and self-improvement, which helped me succeed both in higher education and the workforce. I truly believe that Edison played a fundamental role in my accomplishments as a paramedic and now medical school student.

Edison’s community is also incredibly supportive. The school’s leadership and teachers encourage values of honesty, kindness, and collaboration, which are evident in the relationships formed among students. Kids often build friendships across grades, allowing for natural peer mentorship and fostering a sense of belonging. I am still very close with many of my classmates, and we continue to support each other through life’s milestones.

One of Edison’s standout qualities is its commitment to continuous improvement. The school and its leadership continue to enhance its offerings with new experience-enriching programs in volunteerism, sports, and the arts. Given the school’s smaller student body, large team sports (ie. football and soccer) may not be as extensive as at larger schools, but students excel in small team sports where they develop strong teamwork and camaraderie.

While Edison’s values and goals create a tight-knit and collaborative community, it’s worth noting that the environment may resonate most with families who align with these principles. However, for those who do, Edison provides unmatched academic and personal growth opportunities.

Overall, Edison is a leader in providing academic enrichment and foundational learning. My daughter has gone to Edison for 3 years and the teachers are dedicated and caring and focused on my child's needs and development to be academically successful.

I love the small class sizes, the faculty and the families of the children that go to Edison. My daughter loves going to this school.

I started coming to Edison in grade two and just recently graduated this past May and during my time at this school, here have been my biggest takeaways:

-Teaches students to take charge of their learning which helps prepare students for university while also offering/encouraging incredible resources and help should you need it.
-Edison fosters healthy competition, with some teachers even incentivizing a good class average on exams, which helps to keep students motivated and engaged in their learning. However, teachers constantly remind students to be kind to themselves regarding grades and that we are more than a number.
-Finally, the highschool teachers at Edison are incredibly educated and passionate in the subjects they teach which shows through their incredibly engaging way of teaching (games, labs, projects etc.)

overall my experience at Edison was truly one of a kind and I absolutely loved every bit of it!!

My grandson attends Edison School and he has absolutely flourished! As a bright and inquisitive little boy in grade 2, he has definitely benefitted from the strong phonics, math and science programs. The staff are engaging and friendly. The small classroom sizes are a bonus.

We absolutely love this school and everything about it! It has a very safe, caring and fostering environment that brings out the best in each individual student. There is a very strong focus on high academic achievement which sets the students up for a lifetime of success. We highly recommend sending your child here!

This school is fantastic. While the price is steep for some, I find that you get your moneys worth at this school. I am currently a student here and the amount of care and thought the teachers provide is spectacular. I like the new renovations as it uses the open space much more efficiently than previous years. One small gripe I have is with the parking lot. It feels messy in the back half and there need to be more defined spaces for more efficiency. Overall 10/10 experience 👍
