I had the delivery appointment for this business after the long drive of 3 days when I arrived for my appointment. I was told I need to have ppe kit as they had acids in the lot. I totally get the safety regulations however they need to have helpful staff because they need to understand that a driver doesn’t know about your rules so they need to have some temporary equipment for them because when we arrive there we are treated very unprofessionally. Also the equipment is like 700 dollars plus just for one visit why do we need to spend that much in the store to get the simple things which can be provided by the business. At the entrance I waited for more than an hour for shipper so that I can talk to him to do something about this. He simply said just get the kit then you can go. If you comeback in time then we can see what we can do regarding unloading if not then you have to wait until Monday as my appointment was on Friday. I don’t believe this is right way to deal with a driver which travelled for long distance he said we need to go home and see our family what about drivers family.
Although the lady I believe her name was savannah which was very helpful she also came out from office when I told her my situation on buzzer but the shippers didn’t care about what drivers are going through.
They were laughing we also sent back 2 other drivers so you are third. If they know this is happening on regular basis why no one is coming forward to have some temporary dresses for drivers as we are only there for half hr. They wasted more than 4 hours of mine. When I got the equipment after spending my money.
I didn’t even got outside from my truck more than 2 minutes. So what’s the point for this hassle.
I have never seen horrible staff like this. This will be the last time for me in this building.
