I can’t say enough good things about the team at IDA Pharmacy in Penhold! Every employee I’ve interacted with, from the front cashier to the pharmacy techs, has been knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely kind. Whenever I visit, I’m treated with patience and never feel rushed or like a burden. The pharmacist takes the time to thoroughly answer all my questions, no matter how many I have.

IDA has gone above and beyond for me multiple times. They once filled an emergency prescription in just 15 minutes, loaned me crutches for free when I was injured, and even helped me navigate my insurance coverage with clear guidance.

What really sets IDA apart is the personal touch. They care about their customers in a way that’s rare, especially compared to big-chain pharmacies. On top of that, they have a great selection of shelf items at prices that often beat places like Shoppers. I am also very impressed with their hours, as being open on Sundays and until 7:00 Monday-Saturday isn't very common in a small town, but it makes my life so much easier.

After moving from Calgary to Penhold, I worried about finding a pharmacy that was fast and efficient. IDA exceeded my expectations—they're not just fast and efficient, they go the extra mile to take care of their customers.

I have been using this pharmacy for over a year. The pharmacy staff are always very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. If they know you are waiting for your prescription they will do their best to fill it as soon as possible so you’re not left waiting. My visit today was very quick. I dropped a new prescription off expecting to have to wait. My prescription was filled within 5 minutes and I was on my way. If you are looking for a pharmacy that will treat you like a human and not a number I would recommend Penhold IDA.

Arpit was amazing. We went for a travel consultation, he was very knowledgeable and kind. My kids are very nervous with needles and he was very patient with them. He talked to them about what we needed and why. He did an excellent job administering the vaccinations for my whole family. I would highly recommend him for all your family travel vaccination and all other pharmacy needs.

He took the time to get all of our travel details and look into what we’d need for the areas plus others that are good to have or missing boosters. Very knowledgeable and care about my allergies, every time I have a new medication they check in advance that there won't be any issues. I also have been coming in for weekly injections and they have always been professional and are also genuinely interested in my bloodwork/health/results of the injections to make sure they are working properly. I have never had a bad interaction with any of th new staff, they are always friendly and inviting, making it my favorite pharmacy to deal with. Highly recommend.

All of the staff are fantastic. The entire team went above and beyond for me on many occasions. They are extremely fast and efficient, while always being perfectly accurate, and genuinely kind, and caring. If I hadn’t needed to relocate too far to commute, just for regular medication refills, I would have never changed my pharmacy.
