If I were ordering from a kids' menu, I would understand the portion size. But after I left, I literally went to Wendy's to grab another burger as I left hungry 😩. Otherwise, it was good...

We had ranchers castle cater our wedding on September 27th at pine and pond. My mother-in-law suggested ranchers castle as the cater because they have always treated her so well. Dylan and his staff went above and beyond with the quality of food, the presentation, and dealing with the covid restrictions. It was so good that people still talk about it. One of his staff members is an artist and sculpted two swans out of styrofoam and painted it just for us. We got donuts from Toilers for the dessert and they even put the donuts out for us even though they didn’t have to. We really appreciate everything Ranchers castle did and highly recommend them for catering services or an awesome restaurant to eat at as they treat you like family.

I always get steak Neptune when we hit our favorite steak place near our home. I often worry that other, new places won’t live up to our local steak joint a half hour away… I’m glad I tried this!

I was a little worried when the place was empty when we arrived. -40 would do that.
I also not switched plans and chose another place down the road… but we decided to take the chance.
I’m sure glad we did.

Other than the heating issue they were having in the restaurant (that forced us to wear out jackets during supper)… the whole experience was GREAT! And honestly, the extreme cold temps are something the wouldn’t be able to control either, loads of people are having issues with hvac right now.

The steak was flavoured beautifully and done to perfection as medium rare. The sauce was tasty. The gravy too! The asparagus was still crisp (the signe of a well cooked asparagus)… no one likes soggy asparagus. The soup was potato bacon and it got the spot perfectly too!

Our waitress was on the ball and friendly.

By the time we were leaving we noted how full the restaurant had become. That says a lot when it was as cold as it was and the other restaurant that I was going to choose down the road was still empty.

This was THE BEST meal I have ordered out in a long time!!! I had the 9oz steak with prawns vegetables and caesar salad and my hubby had the fish and chips with salad and the pizza and for dessert is strawberry cheesecake!!! The steak was hands down THE BEST steak I ever had thank you guys for giving us a beautiful meal away from home!!!❤👌 we literally ate every single bite of this!!! 10/10 reccomend!!!

We ordered pick and it was such a disappointment will not order from there again. Ordered a Greek salad payed $17 for the salad and didn’t even have salad dressing. When I phoned about the missing dressing they hung up on me.

I had the sirloin steak special. Very tender and flavourful. The waiter Shawn was courteous and prompt. Highly recommend this establishment.
