During our trip back from Banff, we stayed in the charming town of Sicamous. Far from the hustle and bustle of downtown life, this small town offered a refreshing change of pace. Craving some ice cream, we discovered Licks n Splits and were greeted by a server with a big smile.

The server patiently explained the various ingredients in their banana split, making us feel welcomed and informed. We decided to order one, and it was absolutely delicious—definitely a highlight of our trip!

Licks n Splits is a seasonal gem, open from May to September, and features open seating. There’s plenty of parking available in the market area, making it a convenient stop. If you find yourself in Sicamous during the warmer months, don’t miss out on this delightful ice cream spot!

Ice cream was delicious and just what we needed in a very hot day. Lots of flavour options available for soft serve ice cream! Service was a little slow despite there not being anyone before us but still a great place to get some ice cream.

The best ice cream place in Sicamous!! The soft serve ice cream is Incredibly smooth and all the flavours i have had are so yummy!! When it is super hot out the ice cream cone melts really has so be prepared to consume it quickly. I like getting mine in a cup because even if it melts it doesn't drip all over my hand. There is often a long line here but they are very efficient and take the orders and serve as quick as they can.

This is a hidden gem in Sicamous. Most people stop at DDutchman Dairy - which is lovely - but that means they miss out on this wonderful little ice cream spot. Lots of picnic tables to sit at, no lineups, and so many soft or hard icecream flavours to choose from. Great prices, friendly service... what more can you ask for on a sunny day!!

I tried their pistachio soft serve and it was one of the best soft serves I have ever had. Super delicious and creamy.
Bubblegum soft serve was also amazing. We will be back here to try other flavours and possibly the Razzle.

Holy smokes does this place have it all. From hard and soft served ice cream, iced drinks, razzles (better version of a blizzard) and banana splits. All served in a nice shop with a pretty amazing mineral and fossil collection on display.

We all had soft serve ice cream and it was still 30C outside. The ice cream was running down the cones by the time we walked to the car, but it was so good!

Waffle cones and dipped are a must!

The atmosphere is awesome, the staff member serving us we polite, knowledgeable, and quick.

Prices were very reasonable!

A must for a warm summer evening.
