I was in the office, everyone that was working in the office at the time started cheering for most suspensions in one month. I don’t know what kind of teachers cheer for having bad students. Care more about their authority over the kids then teaching. Not recommended

I absolutely love this school. Any issues with either of my kids were delt with promptly. the teachers are amazing and truly care about your child. Your child is always safe, and any bullying is delt with instantly. Teachers will email you back at 8pm if needed, the ladies in the office are so nice and amazing. This is definitely a school you want to send your children to. I will be sad when my kids move onto high school and so will they!

St Franics is a good school but I feel they don’t deal with bullying. Federal law require anti bullying programs in alberta school and they do not have one!!! This school could improve by getting one for this location because half the kids there are spoiled little brats.

Terrible school, don't bring your child here. Full of disrespectful students and teachers who don't care about the huge bullying problem around the school. Counselors don't do anything to help students with mental health. I went to this school for my middle school years and I hated it so much, I honestly wish I had gone to a different school during those times. I only had a few teachers who were actually nice, the rest were just jerks. The school itself is very cramped and crowed for its size, the sports teams and curricular activities aren't as good as you think they are. Lots of unneeded rules for students. Please please please please, take your child to St. Thomas or Eastview, it isn't worth it coming here. I speak from experience.

FROM FORMER STUDENT!!!!!!!
My review was deleted the first time but this is the most horrible school I have ever attended. When I was in grade nine I was even counting down the days until I could leave. The teachers clearly favour other students, bullying is through the roof and nobody even cares, and the overall environment is just toxic and negative.
First off, family groups are unnecessary and seem to pick on the kids with social anxiety, or have horrible luck making friends. Since there is a massive bullying problem in this school, family groups only makes it worse. Taking young kids away from their friends and forced to make new ones, even if they clearly feel uncomfortable, is NOT okay. The teachers there also abuse their power. Not going to say names, but there is one teacher who constantly would talk to me about things not important and expect me to listen while I was working on homework. They're also allowed to show their hate towards students and no one is allowed to care.
Secondly, for Bamfield students and parents paid very good money to help their kids attend Bamfield only for it to be less enjoyable with forced groups, no phones, and no break. My friend would've enjoyed it more if he had the chance to spend it with their friends, instead of being alone with people they dislike.
If this gets deleted then I know what I said was true. Please fix your bullying problem, the teacher's pet problem and the family group issue.

i hate it here. i still go here unfortunately (staying anonymous for reasons i wont go into, haha cant catch me now lol) and its terrible. its taking a toll on my mental health, theres a huge bullying problem and nobody seems to care. students who are different get picked on constantly (such as me), and teachers dont do anything to help. theres few teachers that arent jerks. i have a learning disability and an anxiety disorder, and i wasnt able to get any extra help when i needed it. there wasnt any room to breathe or catch a break, and it was insanely pressuring. councelors dont make an effort to help. tldr: this place sucks

As a kid who goes here to saint Francis this school is AWESOME!! They have a thing called sport development for kids who want to improve their sport. And the teachers here wow they are amazing especially 6-2 Jansen
