Nice clean motel - basic room but nice. Nice and helpful folks running the place too. I’m glad they had A/C because it was 91 F when I checked in around 6 pm. |Try to get a room away from the highway if you can because of traffic noiseI would stay here again

Just a little bitty place on the edge of town, excellent bed no noise and staff are very friendly. The rooms are very clean and the air conditioner works great. I would definitely come back here again.
Thanks for a chance to stay here and have an awesome sleep while I’m on the road.

Make sure you wash your vehicle before coming to this place. Management Wouldn’t allow a “dirty” truck to be parked outside the room. Nice having to pack everything from the vehicle to the room and from the room to the vehicle and unable to keep an eye on the vehicle. For $150/night a person should be able to park outside their room!!!!

The staff is nice and friendly. Rooms are clean but definitely needing some upgrades and repairs. Im here for work and was.placed here for the week. The worst part is the drunks and what sounds like people fighting all night. If you plan on getting a good night sleep find another place. Pathetic!

Very nice staff, who accommodated our request to arrive a day late. Very clean room with TV, fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. However, you could only use 2 plugs at a time! AC worked well although a bit noisy. Decor extremely basic. Restaurant in the same complex was pleasant and had reasonable food.

The room was in a quiet location which was good but the heater in the bedroom did not work and the manager turned it on to warm up the room while I went to dinner. At bedtime, I called the manager to tell her the heater was blowing cold air and she admitted then that it did not work and to turn the baseboard heater in the bathroom on...she did offer another room but at that point, I just wanted to go to bed. The shower head in the bathroom blew water out of the pipe as well as the shower head and the carpet had some large stains....to my thinking, not a bargain at just shy of $90/night and I will not go back! When I went to drop the key off the next morning, I rang for the manager and despite all bells and whistles going off, nobody showed up so I left the room key on top of the reservation book on the desk

The worst experience we have ever had with a hotel. We called and booked weeks in advance drove 9-ish hours from Saskatchewan to this motel. Go to check in and the lady at the counter said the room was “cancelled” or there was “confusion”. We did NOT call to cancel and now we are left stranded with no where to stay on short notice. The absolute worst service. |Don’t waste your time with this motel, you may not even get a room at the end. The worst part? This wasn’t even a vacation/short stay. This was a two week long term that was booked for a work placement/shift work. The anger is real, I’ve never, EVER been so disappointed. Very poor customer service.

While our room was fairly spartan, it was incredibly clean and the staff were very friendly. We had a delicious dinner at the onsite restaurant followed by a quiet, peaceful night's sleep. The only drawback is that there's no place in Sparwood to have breakfast other than fast food joints. Thankfully it's not that far up the road to Fernie.
