Very nice center! NOT very inclusive! As soon as they learned my child had autism and cerebral palsy they couldn’t get us out of there fast enough. Couple of the ladies were very nice and helpful informing us of other programming. The older lady with the short hair (maybe the head teacher given her comments) however made it very clear my child was not wanted there. She was very judgmental and snarky. She grabbed a blank piece of paper and a permanent felt scribbled down 2 other centers handed it to me pretty much gesturing me to leave now. The other 2 lady’s I spoke with were very willing to give information and print me off some other inclusive preschool programs.

My son was diagnosed with a severe speech and language delay and was not very social with other children. After finishing his second year at Seden Centre, his speech has improved substantially and he now plays with friends. The program is great, they make really well done crafts to bring home, have animals come to the school, field trips and so many amazing activities. The teachers, SLPs, and occupational therapists are all excellent. My son is ready for kindergarten thanks to Seden Centre and all of the lovely staff.

This is the best preschool. I have 3 kids and have gone to other preschools for my older 2 but my youngest attended Sedan. The thought and the planning that goes into the year is so incredibly detailed. My son developed a real love for learning here and was always eager to come home and know more about some of the topics they learned. Their in house field trips are so cool and they really pay attention to each child unique personalities. They really go out of their way in everything they do and the staff has been very pleasant, from the open houses before we started all the way to Graduation. Yes.... they go all out for their preschool graduations and it's put together so nicely!
Thank you Sedan Centre for giving our son an incredible start to "school". He enjoyed it thoroughly!

I don't often rate things 5 stars, but I think Seden Center deserves it. Mrs. Cheryl and her staff are excellent and I believe they corrected the damage that our daughter had sustained from her prior preschool and set her on a good path. They seemed to confidently know what to do for her, and it worked. We are extremely thankful to them and happy that we sent her here.

Aside from getting the guidance she needed, our daughter learned a lot at Seden Center through the plethora of fun activities they did every day. You can tell the staff put in a lot of effort from the crafts that got sent home daily, the field trips, the visitors, the amazing class room, etc. Our daughter had a lot of fun and she loved going to school at the Seden Center.

BTW, the two comments on here saying the school is racist are totally out to lunch as our daughter's class was about 50% non-white.

Seden Centre is absolutely great! My child loved going to school! They invest a lot into these kids and it shows. They were kind, compassionate and committed towards my kid. When other preschools rejected us because of neurodivergence, they accepted us and they helped so much! Kindergarten is such a breeze because the foundation Seden Centre built is solid!

Seden Center was an outstanding preschool for my son. He spent his first two year of schooling there and the staff go above and beyond to not only help kids with speech or other learning difficulties, but all the students there. I was always impressed with the learning my son did, the crafts and art they produced, time for play and basic reading and writing skills he had when leaving, as well I could feel all the care each staff member had for him. It's the best preschool program in Sherwood Park I've come across by far and a must see for your little one.

The experience has been simply incredible for my son, With his speech delay was so amazing he started talking right away, the love and the dynamic nature of the classes, without a doubt being the best there is!! we will miss you alot Seden!!!
