My husband loves making soaps, and for his birthday last year, I gifted him soap-making classes from Wixy Soap. I booked him three classes for the month of November:
Cosmetic Notification Class (Online)
Liquid Soap Making Class
Cold Process Technique Soap Making Class

The online class was informative, and Di's expertise was evident as she answered all our questions.

Although I had assumed Sherwood Park was in Calgary, I didn't realize it was actually in Edmonton . Di was very kind and understanding , when we asked if my husband could join the next upcoming classes due to the location mix-up. She accommodated him seamlessly, and we were able to complete the remaining two classes in December.

My husband thoroughly enjoyed the soap-making experience, thanks to Di's over 12 years of experience in the field and her comprehensive knowledge of soap making. The classes were engaging, fun, and informative.

We immediately booked three more classes for January:
Shampoo Bar Making Class
Bath Bomb Making Class
Moisturizer Making Class
We're back in January, and as usual, Di is an excellent coach and teacher. If you're looking for a top-notch soap-making experience, I highly recommend Wixy Soap and Di's expertise. We took the Cold Press class. Di really knows her stuff. The class is very informative and she answered all our questions. It is a fun hands on class. Our bars turned out fabulous. We didn't feel rushed to keep up with everybody else. She is also well stocked with product and supplies for sale. We will book for a different class in the new year.

Cold-Process Soap was so much fun! I was a little intimidated at first, because of the chemicals (lye is scary!), but Di made it really easy to understand, and be safe while working. I also really appreciated her expertise in breaking down the math & the ratios involved, which made it seem less obscure. My soap turned out great, and I was able to successfully make more on my own by following Di's excellent guidance! 10/10, would definitely learn from again!

I signed up for both the cold process soap making and the lotion making classes for me and my Mom. Signing up online was a straightforward and easy process. I was happy to find an activity that my Mom was interested in and we both really enjoyed both classes. Di is very knowledgeable, friendly and easy going. The class pace was just right for learning, doing and also allowed for a bit of socializing. We made and brought home some lovely soap and lotion; while the soap is still curing, we are thoroughly enjoying the lotion; even my very picky 8 year old boy likes it! I’m so glad I decided to take a class. I took the cold press soap class on my own to learn something new and to see if it would spark a greater interest in soap making for me. Be prepared to want to do even more classes offered by Di! There’s no way I would have felt confident learning this out of a book or off YouTube. Di is extremely knowledgeable and the class atmosphere is amazing. Hearing other people’s questions and stories of past experiences trying to make soap have given me even more insight to the process. I purchased a ready to go kit from Di once the class was done and am quite confident that it will turn out amazing. Price was extremely reasonable. Tons of colours and fragrances to choose from. Save time and money by taking this course. No trial and error just success. We use soap everyday so why not have it be a treat 😀

I took the cold process soap making class and loved it! I now have the confidence to make my own soap. I went home and made another batch that day! I was really impressed with the selection of fragrances. It was really hard to pick just one scent. I will be back for another class!

What a fun class! Di had wonderful energy with everyone in the class, gave us lots of information on making soap and using soap calculator. She has a huge selection of fragrance oils, essential oils and colours to scent and colour your soap with as well, so you’ll get to go some with a product you’ll love. I’ll be back for more of her classes.
