I can't say enough good things about J Lash Academy and Jess, the incredible owner and teacher! I recently completed the online lash course, and it was beyond my expectations. Jess has such a passion for teaching, and her instructions are clear, detailed, and easy to follow. She breaks everything down step by step, making the course perfect for both beginners.

Did her in person course back in July. I was shocked when the course manual was 19 pages only. She also teaches with easy fan lashes. Being in the industry for a while i see how damaging these are as you cannot form narrow bases. Not only did she ONLY supply easy fan lashes, the tweezers she supplies are junky, they do not close all the way. Her glue seems like the 8$ bottles you can get and add your own label. The ‘extras’ she tries to sell you are marked up in price over 100%.(PLEASE use amazon for your lash room set up) She didn’t give me time to complete my live model, nor did she assist in my application with my model. She sat and caught up on emails and typed the whole time. My client was unimpressed and she knew nothing about the lash application, but knew this was my first set. After my set was “done”, she sent me out of the house with my model & my certificate she had printer prior to my arrival, rather then talking about what to improve on & properly certifying me (i assume that’s because she didn’t watch me and had no idea) Overall, i would not recommend. You can do a FREE lash course on Udemy and gain more knowledge than I did in this course. Truly i’m not sure how these reviews are all positive. You can tell when a lash educator just wants to make a dollar, and i’m super upset i wasted $1250 to learn absolutely nothing. Please do not take this course.

Taking this course was the best decision ever. The modules are very informative and go over everything you would need to know as a lash tech. It really is self paced and won’t lose anything even if it takes you 1yr to get back too. I am now certified and I’m so excited for my next step in my lash journey. This online course was amazing! The instructor Jess who is also the owner explains everything so well, I love how you can take the course at your speed you can go back if needed and so much helpful information is given this is my Second certification for lashing and I must say even though this class is online videos it was the best !! If your looking into becoming a lash artist please take this course you won’t be disappointed!!
