Since moving to Sherwood Park, we have attended two of the three congregations that meet at this Church location. There are Sacrament meetings each Sunday at 9:00am, 10:30am and 12:00pm. There is a great community of saints here, who will welcome you in worshiping Jesus Christ alongside them. The building if filled with a peaceful feeling, and has many beautiful pictures of the Savior and kind people doing their best to become more like him.

Attended Easter Sunday Meeting. Christ-centered messages from congregation members of all ages. Uplifting vocal and instrumental music. Bishop (clergy) gave concluding thoughts and emphasized all are welcome here.

The church is clean, convenient, and the people that attend are very friendly and welcoming. There are three Sacrament meeting times, 9 AM, 11 AM and 1 PM each Sunday. There are also children's Sunday School and Nursery meetings and other meetings that may be attended. I enjoy worship through the renewal of my baptismal covenants, the singing of hymns, and through prayer and and sharing of testimonies of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Everyone is welcome.

I love attending the meetings here. I feel a unity with fellow christians and a closeness to God. The people are trying to do their best and are sincere in their efforts. They're definitely not perfect (who is) but they're trying with God's grace to become better.

We were involved with the building of the Sherwood Park chapel which would have been completed around 1974. This chapel was constructed at significant sacrifice by all who were to enjoy the chapel for all those years since, as the members were required to provide 30% of the costs of the entire project. So much time donated to various projects and also a lot of dollars were required. Everyone who lived in Sherwood Park at that time remembers it well. This project created some comradery that wouldn't have been possible in any other way. We love the Sherwood Park chapel.

Say what you will about religion, and the Mormon religion as a system of beliefs. But I have known some incredible Mormon people. Some of the kindest, most compassionate, and selfless individuals on the face of the earth are or were Mormon. So, there is something to be said about that. Loretta Meek for example, was a member of this church. She was a local preschool teacher for over 50 years and influenced the lives of thousands-- both religious and not. Cheers to Loretta, and cheers to this church regardless of whether their beliefs are "right" or not.

A warm and welcoming community of people trying to follow the example of Christ. Sunday services at 9 AM, 1030 AM and 12 PM.

Insiders tip - Almost every Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints have a gym, with weekly pickup basketball. Find a fried who's a member and ask about it. 🙂
