My two boys switched to SGSDance one year ago and we are all so grateful that we made that decision. The studio is incredibly organized and communicative, responding to emails quickly and informatively, they provide a handbook at the beginning of the year with everything you need to know regarding important dates, competitions, expectations, etc. There is also a studio band app where you can post questions and either parents, students, or faculty get you a quick response. The dancers do exams for ballet, tap, and acrobatics, giving them goals to work towards and reports on their technical progress. The culture has been inclusive and welcoming, and we have all formed strong bonds with our new dance family. The teachers are passionate and dedicated, and I have witnessed transformational growth in my kids as dancers, and as humans, over just one year. They absolutely love dancing at this studio so much, it is never an argument or difficult to get them there, and they never want to stop - despite how many hours they dance throughout the year. SGSDance offers world-class training, phenomenal choreography, and incredible performance opportunities for our dancers. We are so lucky to be on this team!

Absolutely love SGS dance. The staff are professional and treat everyone with kindness and respect. It is clear that they truly care about all of their students. They helped my daughter discover her passion for dance, and she is always excited to go to classes to see her friends and teachers. Definitely the best studio in the city!

My daughter has been attending SGS for 5 years. The staff are incredible. They are personable, professional and truly care about everyone there. They keep the facilities well maintained and clean, and did an EXCEPTIONAL job managing and updating the studio to accommodate the fluidity of COVID. Above all this, the excellent training and wonderful relationships my daughter has built with everyone is what keeps our loyalty with SGS.

Very little information on the website, which is incredibly hard to navigate. No one picks up the phone or returns phone calls. Finally got through to one of the staff (Caylee or Kylie?) and she was rude and very unprofessional. Sandra Gray clearly doesn't need any new student registrations to keep its lights on. I am looking at other, more organized dance studios for my daughters. Maybe Studio C...

My daughter has been dancing with SGSD for 6+ years. It is literally her home away from home. The teachers are amazing and encouraging, supporting the children and adolescents in their passion for dance. There is no other studio we would want to go to. Thanks SGSD for all you do.

My daughter was in the acro non-competitive class. While we were out of country they sent an email saying if you do not let them know you opt out of a class test (with only 3 days notice) then they will automatically sign your child up for the test without a parents permission/knowledge and charge you for it. We were not aware of this test when we signed up for the class initially. When I questioned this extra charge they said "we let you know by email and it is in our policy and procedures". I told them we were away when they sent this email as well, and I reminded them we told them we were out of country and this was not fair for them to put this extra charge on us without our knowledge. Also, I reminded them that they should disclose extra costs verbally or in a more direct way when someone signs up for a class so that all costs are known up front and not a surprise and give more than a 3 day window to "opt out". They also should have an opt in for testing and not an opt out especially when they are not only charging people, but also only giving 3 days notice! They refused to pay back this cost. I am very disappointed in their customer service and the way they handle their extra costs. They can do a better job at making sure full costs of a program are up front and have an opt in for testing rather then an opt out since they only give 3 days notice for an added fee. Yes they said it is in their policy and procedures, but when you sign your child up for a non-competitive class and are new to SGS dance you do not expect testing and also it is not well presented for you either when you sign a child up for a non-competitive class. I only expected the class fees and it was only a fun class for my child. I hope going forward no one else has to deal with this.
