I graduated from the Medical Lab Assistant program at Stenberg College.

I had an exceptional experience with the instructors at this school. Every single instructor was so patient and so kind, creating an atmosphere where they felt more like friends than teachers. This was the first time I’ve seen an entire team be so kind polite and so amazing. There was never a day where I preferred a certain instructor over the other. I was comfortable with everyone

I was never afraid to ask for help or ask a question because of how polite and helpful the instructors were.

Despite the challenge of commuting to Surrey during peak traffic hours, I always looked forward to my classes. The positive and engaging environment made the journey worthwhile, and I would gladly travel even farther if it meant continuing to learn from such a fantastic team. Thank you for making every lab session enjoyable and enriching!

I have never written a review before but after completing the Psychiatric Nursing Diploma Program through Stenberg College I felt the need to share my experience. Having been enrolled through other colleges in the past I can truly say that Stenberg College offers the highest level of personalized assistance to students. Their faculty has gone above and beyond any expectations I had going into the program. Their instructors are always willing to provide personal assistance if needed, and their enthusiasm for what they teach helps to both motivate and inspire students. Not only have I learned a great deal surrounding what it takes to become a successful registered psychiatric nurse but I have also discovered a great deal about myself throughout the process. Their emphasis on therapeutic communication, emotional intelligence, and critical thinking skills have helped teach me things about myself and have guided me so that I may become a better nurse and a better person overall. I cannot say enough how this experience has helped change me for the better and has provided me with a set of skills so that I may flourish in a successful career. One that is both rewarding and humbling. I feel very strongly that their faculty truly cares for their students, and is inspired to train a new generation of nurses to better serve their communities. If I were to make the decision again of where I wanted to train to become a nurse, I would choose Stenberg College.

I graduated from Health Care Assistant Diploma Program. I must say my mentor Jenny Kim did an awesome job in teaching us.She is an amazing teacher. She makes learning easy to remember by giving so many personal examples. It was fun to be in her class. I made it to be in Toppers with the help of her support, motivation and guidance. I must give 5 star to Jenny. Also, stenberg is doing great with making up excellent future Care aides. Thanks a lot…

I graduated from the Education Assistant Program back in 2016. I am extremely grateful to have studied at Stenberg. I got hired almost right away with 2 two school districts and it was a tough decision to decide which one to go for. The staff at Stenberg were super awesome and very helpful. It's such a great college and I would highly recommend it. Thank you Stenberg College.

I don't usually write reviews but I feel I need to about my experience at Stenberg College. Being an older student I was very unsure of how my Therapeutic Recreation Assistant Program would go. From the very beginning I felt supported and encouraged. The instructors were compassionate and understanding when life's challenges arose during my courses. A few in particular checked in on me, when they didn't need to, just to see if I was okay. Cheryl and Sherri, your kindness helped me strive through...pass with academic honors and feel confident to work and succeed in the Therapeutic Recreation field. I recommend Stenberg College, it's programs, and encourage people to enroll here.....you won't be disappointed!!!

Since graduating I have been working in Therapeutic Recreation at The Cascades Care Community in Chilliwack facilitating inspiring and creative programs to older adults. I am extremely grateful that my first instructor was Sherry. Sherry is a true professional that helped all of my classmates when we had concerns as new students.
Sherry clearly walked all her students through the student handbook and it was clear what was and wasn't acceptable behaviour. Sherry also expressed that if the guidelines were not followed that this was the warning and any individual not following the guidelines would not only be dismissed they would also not be able to pursue a career within the health care system.
Sherry used examples from her own life for the purpose of her students being able to recall Sherry's examples on exams and I myself found that helpful.
While my classmates and myself were waiting for school there were situations that we were all exposed to (in our work environments) and found unsettling. Sherry inspired us with her professional and ethical values and reminded us that we as newly educated students going into health care "are the change." Sometimes as an adult I find it difficult to find hope and hearing that "I can be that change" makes me feel hopeful.
Thank you Sherry for inspiring my classmates and myself to move forward "being the change."
Thank you for showing up for class everyday with a smile on your face and creating a safe space for each of your students to learn and grow.

I am enrolled in the Practical Nursing program at Stenberg College at the Surrey location. One of the teachers, Paven Sidhu, is amongst the most unprofessional individuals I have ever encountered. She frequently cancels open labs an hour before they start, even a day before major tests, citing illness. This has happened multiple times, especially before important exams. Additionally, she has accused students of stealing equipment but fails to apologize when the items are found.
