My son has been going to this dojo for three months. We have seen huge positive changes in his well-being. Sensei Martin and Khalil (and the other experienced students) are patient and spend a lot of time ensuring their students are learning at the right pace based on how the student responds to their training. They encourage students to do their best but not with force or pressure. I'm
wanting to join too! A great safe space for all.

My daughters have been training here for almost 10 years now, it is a safe and welcoming space for girls and women to train. It is run by professionals who are keen to make sure you feel comfortable and respected. The dojo is very welcoming and accommodating for all ages and skill levels. This is not a competitive environment, but rather a space where everyone is enabled to learn and better themselves. I highly recommend taking a lesson and bringing your kids here.

I’ve known Sensei Martin Balog for almost 20 years now, Same with Khalil Wright. Both are among the very best martial artists I’ve ever trained with, PERIOD. They’ve helped my own martial arts systems work that much better along with learning some incredibly useful skills that go beyond the typical self defense/fighting that the average martial arts school/dojo teaches. What they teach can help in everyday life, not just those rare moments that you may have to defend yourself. I Highly recommend learning from them!

Highly recommended this dojo to anyone. Khalil my instructor is very knowledgeable having been training for 20+ years.
He is very patient as well making sure I have a strong foundation to work with as someone with little to no experience

This is Edmonton's highest caliber/ technical martial arts center that you will ever find. This is a have to experience for anyone learning about personal safety or wanting to start a martial path.
