Great place to take the kids, grandchildren, or just have a nice date night in the hot tub. Staff are amazing. Keep up the great work. They are even there when you just need a shower when the hot water tank brakes. They are amazing and accommodating for everybody.

I love the Strathmore Aquatic Centre. I love going there the steam room. My daughters go there all the time. They also have a great Deep water exercise on Thursday nights. That they have a fantastic fitness instructor there named Heather High. Yes she is my wife, but she is awesome!!

Dirty old facility! This pool can't seem to train lifeguards and pool personal inconsistently. Some families are allowed to use the waterslide and accompany small children on the stairs while others are flat out denied.

Side note: wear swim shoes as there is a wart and athletes foot outbreak at this pool!!! Ewweee

We went swimming here a couple of times in the summer of 2023 when we were visiting the area. There is a play pool/spray area for younger children, a hot tub and the main pool. My kids enjoyed the climbing wall and the diving board. The water slide was out of service when we visited, but it looked pretty good. Children under 8 need to take a swim test to go in the deep end. It's a nice facility with friendly staff.

First impressions were spent wondering where the front entrance was. The lockers were big and the showers were great.

The kiddy pool was ok but it seemed like it wasn't functioning fully. The main pool was cold and the deep end had a climbing wall. The hot tub was warm after being in the cold pool. The steam room was tucked away and had great lighting but not much steam.

What was disappointing was the waterslide and the policies! A normal waterslide, you go to the top, wait, then go down. This waterslide, you wait at the bottom until the people are completely down the waterslide, making it incredibly slow. The waterslide itself was very boring, poorly planned and needing some tlc. A switch saying when the next person could go down would have been a much smarter solution as you can't see the end and the people getting out.

Lastly, the policies. Our family has been to many pools. In fact, lifeguarding was something that was a profession for many years. Strathmore has a policy saying under 8 has a wristband, over 8 no wristband. Our kids are very capable swimmers. However, no one tells you until after you pay, you have to get a swim test under the age of 13 going into the deep end.

I didn't appreciate being told both my children had to wear life jackets in the deep end. What is the point of life guards, swimming within arms reach and wristband. So now my one child has to take a "swim test" when we just want to have fun as a family but can't go where we want. After passing the swm test you get a wrist band saying you dont have to wear a life jacket.

Such a policy will make it so we will NEVER come back. The life guards were kids and enforcing such ridiculous policy and when I went to complain they act like no one has ever complainedabout this before. I'm all for rules but this pool was the harshest pool I've been to. Not a good expierence. My child was very upset that he had to wear a lifejacket and take a swim test after being through lessons and swimming almost everyday last summer.
