I have been trying to pay my practicing teaching fees ($95.00) for a week. I am so upset with your computer system I want to send my fees in Canadian Tire money. Plus, I am getting a hold of the Union, enough is enough.

O stars! I’m not sure if they realise they are dealing with people, customers which means they need to have a customer service phone line, have more people in the office to reply to our questions and inquiries, as well as treat us with respect! None of the above are in place. I have no clue if they have received my fax and when my statement of professional standing will be released and it’s important for me. I am a teacher and I am wondering, what if I would treat my students, parents or any other person in this way? And they are the Ministry of Education!

Advisor was patient, however exasperated with my slow IPad. My Ipad keyed in capitals for lower case information, which kept kicking me out of my log in.Why is this process so extremely difficult? Thank you to my Advisor!

Terribly ran organisation. Clearly understaffed and under resourced.

Teaching registration for overseas applicants takes 4 months minimum and you could be told post 4 months that you need to supply other items.
Surely a quick review upon the documents arrival could highlight the issues and the applicant be informed in a timely manner?

I’m not sure they realise they are dealing with people’s livelihoods and their actions and behaviour only strengthens that view point.

Vancouver supposedly has a teacher shortage. I can only guess this organisation is a huge contributor to this problem.

I have come to the office to ask for a guidance with the documents and people in the office were extremely helpful and welcoming. I had a great experience of visiting the Ministry of Education. Thank you so much for all your help!

Filed a complaint 4 years ago regarding a teacher that assaulted my child. Finally after 4 years they come back with an answer. Basically the teacher has been through enough so they will not penalize her. Meanwhile the district she teaches in never did a thing about this teacher. They wrote her a warning letter for abusing a child shortly before mine and another after mine but still she was around children with no penalty. It would seem that the TRB team up to protect most of who they should be regulating and work closely with the SD's. They have given penalty and published online teachers for doing less than what this teacher did to my child. Not a fair system for regulating which was the complaint before they changed to TRB. I still recommend filing with them because that is the system we have in place. I think that you should file will all the avenues you have available and hope for the best outcome. Now we search for a way to make what they have done public and get the word out there.

There is no office at this address. I would have given a lesser rating if given an option. Totally irresponsible for not letting us know that they do not have an office.

Poor service. No professionalism. No phone number !!! No accountability. Overpaid government hacks running the show. Avoid if possible.
