Don’t bother contacting them about anything. They will not respond to any emails, and when you call to follow up, they will not tell you anything but repeat “we will be responding to your emails” over and over again. The agents, for example Brian Slater, are beyond condescending:

“You can expect an email response when we send you an email response”

Like what?

I’ve sent 4 emails over the last 6 months, called numerous times to follow up, and still no email response yet. They say the same thing every time though. How do y’all expect us to comply with your demands when you’re not giving us anything to work with?

#WestSeaConstructionUnFairPractices they would have more stars if they'd rightfully approve my application with a guarantor if required which I honestly and openly shared that i have a low credit score, however...I always pay rent and have never even been late once in 35 years yet still they denied me. I don't know what to say but after working professional jobs over a lifetime and be denied an apartment that is fully affordable to a nice quiet single gay guy is wrong and maybe McLaughlin on your Side may want to look into how these decisions affecting people's lives are actually being made.

STAY AWAY from this company, renter's nightmare!!! The office managers never respond to calls, extremely unprofessional and unorganized and one always has to chase them around, as they don't even bother calling you back even if you kindly ask them to. But when they finally do, there's nothing but made up stories and lame responses. All they do is make you to run around just to come back with more lies. We are grown up, professional people that value our time and to be treated with such disrespect is a complete disgrace, this company is a shame and should be out of business. What kind of service is that? The building is poorly maintained, apartments are overcrowded with students, drug users, bed bugs and with virtually no security. The rental units offered for premium, are super dirty and poorly fixed. The managers (building and property alike) are liars and don't know what customer service is. Complete lack of respect for people that lived in their building and paid rent for more than 3 years. Save your time and put your money somewhere else, this place and specifically people are not worth it, nothing but a headache and broken promises.

First of all the property manager of Westsea Place is rude and unprofessional. When trying to speak to his Manager (Brian) at Westsea Construction about how poor his property manager is treating people he told me he would look into it and get back to me the next day. He did not, in fact I called three more times and he never bothered to call. This company is horrible abd they should truly ve ashamed of how they conduct business.

WARNING !! As someone thats lived in one of their complexes & works in the construction management industry, I am BLOWN AWAY by their practices!! It should be illegal. Their sister company owned by them of course is contracted to handle maintenance with larger contracts handed out to friends, allowing for idle labour aka lazy labour not working which I've taken videos of & outrageously excessive special assessment bills. Management clearly does not care what people think of them or their despicable practices.

I lived in Sussex Square at 7180 Lindsay Road Apt 111 (actually owned) from from 1988 until 2000 and talk about what those poor people had to go through with the assessment and new levy upheld by the courts, it states that Westsea did not know about the water damage and that the building was deteriorating. I can firsthand let everyone know that so many times my unit had water damage. My whole bathroom ceiling had to be torn down as well as the dining room and had to be redone with myself and my small daughter still living in it while being repaired. The water damage on one exterior wall was so bad I had mushrooms growing inside my living room against one wall all along the wall. The window sills had so much condensation that mould was all along the windows in my bedroom and in my daughters bedroom. I brought this all to management approx. 1999 a good ten years before Westsea claimed they only found out about it in 2009, shame on them!!!!!

RENTERS/BUYERS BEWARE!!! STAY AWAY!!! Be very careful dealing with these guys, they are not trustworthy. Customer service is EXTREMELY poor and they never follow up. Can't say one good thing about this company.
