I had an amazing experience at OTR's class 1 MELT training and successfully passed my final test with only one minor demerit on the first attempt yesterday.

I appreciate All instructors, Doug, Raj, Jag, Jas, Simarn, Braden and Gurdeep, are highly professional and knowledgeable. They were incredibly patient during the training and taught numerous essential skills that helped me become a professional driver, NOT JUST ONLY for test! I felt extremely comfortable and involved throughout the course, which boosted my confidence in driving.

I highly recommend Over The Road Truck Driving School for obtaining your commercial driver's license!

I am assuming a student driver blew through a red light even though he appeared to have time to stop. No horn to warn drivers, did not see any brake lights. The instructor should have been able to advise him on what to do if he can't stop. The light was fully red before he went through so he should have had time if he wasn't speeding. Luckly the driver of the car crossing the intersection was able to avoid his family getting crushed.

I took the airbrakes course with Raj and Jas. I found it to be well organized, and manageable. Both instructors were approachable and answered lots of questions. In the lead up to the practical test, they made themselves available to practice extensively. Much appreciated and highly recommended.

BEST! BEST! BEST! Whoever reads this - look no further! Over The Road Driving School is the best! After a few months of doing MELT, I am now able to drive the biggest vehicle on the road, in manual, to back it up, couple/uncouple it, do a pre-trip inspection and many more. Huge THANKS to the Management and all the Instructors at OTR! Special thanks to Gurdeep, whom we call a truck whisperer, and Simran, who is the most junior among the Instructors but very knowledgeable, calm and supportive - God Bless You guys!!! The amount of knowledge, support and patience these people have are absolutely stunning! Never have I ever felt unheard or disrespected or my questions/requests went unnoticed - everything was accommodated to my needs. The guys were so flexible that I didn't even have to quit or reduce the hours at work to attend the classes. I am highly recommending this school to anyone who wants to get Class 1 Drivers Licence! It was indeed an astounding experience taking the Class 5 Instructor Training at Over The Road Truck Driving School. A big thank you to our instructor Jordan H. He is very patient, understanding, professional and a good motivator. He teaching style is very Learner-Centered Approach. He is one gem of a person, very friendly and a good listener. He will not only teach you to pass your Instructor driving test but to be a good driving Instructor. The Office staff is very kind and helpful and the instructors are knowledgeable and have extensive industry experience. I would recommend this school to anyone looking to get their Class 1 or 5 Instructor Training License.
