Centre de loisirs intérieur complet. La piscine est un peu vieillotte mais quand même bien aménagée, surtout si vous y allez avec de jeunes enfants (5 ans et moins). Le vestiaire familial pour la piscine est petite et il est difficile d'y circuler lorsqu'il y a beaucoup de monde.

Had my 2 year old swim lessons there. Was easy to get in and streamlined. Had all the amenities to help get him changed and ready. The swim instructor was really good and kept him engaged. Place was clean and had life jackets for him. I'm definitely bringing him back for more lessons.

First time using this City owned and operated facility. I can see why the YMCA and the H2O facilities are so busy. This place is straight out of the 70’s when it was built. Sure, there have been upgrades and some lipstick thrown on it. All I can do is shake my head and wonder, why hasn’t it been leveled and rebuilt already, instead of pouring money into such a tired asset. Poor poor planning, to replace this facility it is going to cost at least $300-350 million nowadays. We all pay a decent penny come tax time. I wonder how many boutique projects have been put through rather than updating the Parkinson Rec.

Looking forward to there being an updated facility! The swim clubs/camps take over the entire pool even though they are using only a small percentage of it and the ants/traps in the changerooms are a bit gross. A few crawled on my feet when I was changing. Something I would expect at the beach but not a recreation centre.

If the pool is that popular - perhaps keeping a lane open would be beneficial to all patrons!

5 stars for banquet hall as lots of room when combined on room space or can be made smaller in size for more intimate parties.
The pool I would like to see finally upgraded and to be a lot more clean for me to attend there ever again. The pool gets 2 stars unfortunately.

But this review is from last night, Aug 20 and I really enjoyed being the dj for Clarence and Maria's anniversary. Was well organized by Clarence and well thought out and made fun for all guests and including me as I felt very welcomed! The food was well catered too!

Good place for indoor and outdoor activities.
Even just messing around with the kids in the back is great.
Soccer, pickle ball, playground, exercise equipment outdoors, a nice Creek in the back.

A little gem in the city.

Haven’t been very often even though it is nearby. This is mainly because, despite having all the facilities a rec centre generally has, these facilities generally feel cramped and musty.

Also, note that Google hours are wrong. You need to check their official website for hours as I was matter of factly informed the last time I did try to go.

Fabulous food….Great people!!
The entree was ribs, my mother raves about still, mashed potatoes gravy and corn!!
