As a mom of a 2.5-year-old, I couldn’t be happier with Rothewood Academy. My daughter is always excited to go and comes home talking about her day with so much joy. The staff are warm, caring, and truly make each child feel special. I’ve seen her grow so much in confidence, communication, and social skills since starting. Knowing she’s in a safe, loving, and fun environment gives me such peace of mind. We’re so thankful to have found this daycare—it feels like a second home!

We have our 4yr old here who started part time when he was 3. He had such a great time there and development we made him full time. They have great teachers who are very caring and well educated, the principal Ms. Rachel is very thorough, and Ms. Shelby the vice principal is a gem.

The classrooms are bright and happy, they serve them breakfast, lunch and snacks and their playground is very good and safe and you have access to cameras to watch your kid. They have a great curriculum as a pre-school and kids learn a lot and I’m sure would be well prepared for kindergarten.

They also have events for kids, take them to parks and playgrounds and just had a terry fox run with kids and parents.

Last year they might have had some turnover which is now all settled and stable.

Overall, we couldn’t be happier with Rothewood academy and highly recommend it.

We enrolled our 2 year old at Rothewood last year and have been very happy with our decision. The whiterock location is managed very well by the principals, the teachers are engaging and our son has formed an amazing relationship with his teachers. Turnover is low, which I like. Meals are nutritious and administration is always open to feedback on menus, curriculum and instructions on care for our son. I would highly recommend this daycare!

Sending my son to Rothewood was one of the best decisions that my husband and I made! I was very nervous about putting him into the care of someone else but they made the transition process so easy and painless! Rothewood Academy is a great place for your child. After careful consideration and comparison of many daycares in the South Surrey/White Rock location; Rothewood took top place on our list. It is a great facility: clean, well managed, balanced focus on play based education, SEL and primary curriculum. The teachers are warm, caring and well informed. We appreciate the efforts by the school to create a community of growth mindset for the students and environment that feels like family for the students.
