I would highly recommend shopping with High Country for your next vehicle purchase. Although I never ended up purchasing a vehicle from Rod Rigden at High Country, it was a pleasure dealing with him. He truly made my truck shopping experience an enjoyable one. He did his absolutely best to work with my budget, he wasn't pushy at all, he was helpful, and informative. Thomas my sales rep was amazing! Pure professionalism and genuine. I never felt pressured or that he wasn’t “on my side”. An incredibly nice guy who 100% knew all the details of my used vehicle and was clear and concise when taking me through the purchasing process!

Doug the GM was outstanding! Very easy to talk to and felt like I was chatting with a good buddy. He made sure i was taken care of and all my questions were asked. He went out of his way to pass on a tip about my previous “written off”:truck that personally ended up saving me some material money! His follow up was that which I had not experienced before, very refreshing.

Just a completely rewarding vehicle purchase experience. I will visit them again and would highly recommend High Country Chevrolet!

Service department and techs can't diagnose properly. They replaced a part, only to have that part not fix the problem, so they "re diagnosed" and came up with an even more expensive part to replace. Went from a $540 sensor harness to a $1000 wheel hub? Almost $1600 to get my abs and traction control working again. Seems like no one knows what they're doing in this department. Told the service manager (Roger) that they are no longer allowed to touch my truck.

Tried to keep business local to town but I will take my business to a shop with competent technicians and a knowledgeable service manager from now on. This was an unnecessarily expensive and frustrating experience that I hope others will be able to avoid.

Had the pleasure of speaking with Thomas regarding their options for my specific oil and gas use case, traveling through mud, snow, that kind of thing. I ended up walking away with a 2024 Canyon later that week and couldn't be happier with it! Had to treck some mud on my way to site the following week and it was an absolute breeze. In addition, I had some concerns regarding the engine and transmission which were explained and youtube explainers were texted over the same day. Great experience, friendly staff, and walked away with a jar of honey too! 🙂

Recently purchased a vehicle The experience was the best iv had from a dealership friendly , no pressure and Cathy really went above and beyond with showing all the features on the vehicle and setting everything up . Chad a genuinely nice guy with a no pressure sales pitch . Everybody in GMC high river are so friendly will definitely recommend looking here first .

Another honourable mention to Thomas! This guy is so great. He gave me a full walkthrough of my car’s features! (yes, they explain how everything works!) and a jar of local honey with my keys and gave me tips that he uses in his Blazer. I work in sales, and I have experienced service like this ever..

And Doug? He sold me with one line I’ll never forget: “I can easily sell you a shoe that doesn’t fit you.” — In a world of pushy sales tactics, that ‘old-school’ honesty was everything. He didn’t just sell me a car he earned my trust and the dealership is well managed. Every time I step foot in my vehicle I thank these incredible people for making it happen.
