We had an incredible time horseback riding with Sherry and Dave last week! They take such amazing care of their horses you can really tell how much love and attention they put into everything they do. The trail we rode was absolutely breathtaking, winding through the mountains right along the USA–Canada border. The views were unforgettable, and the entire experience felt peaceful, exciting, and truly unique.

My partner and I had so much fun and felt completely at ease the whole time. Whether you're an experienced rider or a beginner, this is something you definitely shouldn't miss. Highly recommend riding with Sherry and Dave, they're the best!

My friend and I did the 1.5-hour Goldmine Trail ride at Sun Hills Riding Center and it was truly unforgettable. The scenery was absolutely stunning with every turn offering breathtaking views.

We felt incredibly safe and well taken care of from the very beginning. Sherry and Dave were so friendly and welcoming. Before we even mounted up, we were introduced to the horses then given a confidence-boosting lesson within a controlled environment that made us feel prepared for the ride.

Sherry was phenomenal and took photos throughout the ride which were shared with us afterward. This was such a thoughtful touch and gave us amazing memories to look back on.

Highly recommend Sun Hills Riding Center and the Goldmine Trail ride to anyone looking for a beautiful and well-organized adventure on horseback! This was a huge highlight of our trip!

My visit to Sun Hills Riding Centre was nothing short of magical. Tucked away in a beautiful valley surrounded by vineyards, mountains, and a peaceful lake, this place offers an unforgettable horseback riding experience.

What truly made the day special were the incredible hosts, Sherry and Dave. Their hospitality, knowledge, and genuine passion for horses and the land made us feel instantly welcome. They went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, safe, and having a great time. Their love for what they do shines through in every detail.

The horses are gentle, well-trained, and clearly loved. I rode a calm, sure-footed horse that made the trail ride feel both relaxed and adventurous. Safety is a top priority, with helmets and even fly masks provided for the horses. It’s clear Sherry and Dave take excellent care of both guests and animals.

The ride itself? Absolutely stunning. Rolling green hills, vineyards stretching for miles, and views of the sparkling lake below. It’s like riding through a postcard.

If you’re looking for a peaceful escape, an authentic connection with nature, and the warmth of truly wonderful hosts, Sun Hills Riding Centre is the place to be. I can’t wait to return.

Such a fantastic way to wrap up our family’s short trip!! Sherry and Dave made our horseback riding experience so memorable ❤️ Although all three of us were beginners, we felt completely safe and had an amazing time. The introduction of each horses was so interesting, and the fun little conversations along the ride made us fall in love with Osoyoos even more. We’ll definitely be back 😊

100% recommend this for anyone who wants a unique and fun experience in the Okanagan! Sherry and Dave were very professional and fantastic horse handlers. We thoroughly enjoyed the gold mine trail, and the horses were clearly relaxed and well behaved! As a beginner, I was extremely happy with the trip!

We did the Gold Mine loop, which it was really cool to see the opening to the old mine shaft!! Lots of beautiful wildlife and views to see as well

My horse, Jack, was a sweetheart, and was so patient with me relearning to ride after over 15yrs❤ My partner rode Gunner, and he was so gentle and patient

One of the best day of our life! Sherry and Dave are amazing people dedicated to their profession and horses! We took a ride to gold mines and from very first moment till we got off from horses and even after they were the nicest people ever! The best spent money ever and if we have more days to stay we would go again and again! Can’t wait to be back again and go for a ride with them! Wish you all the best! To anyone out there thinking for a trail horse ride in this area just give them a call you won’t regret! Highly Recommend!
