The worst TOEFL iBT test experience ever.
Impolite and unfriendly staff. They make you nervous before exam and behave so bad. lack of appropriate equipment. bad testing environment and lack of space.
Do not recommend doing your TOEFL test at this centre at all !!!

Their headphones are for like a hundred years ago. The test room’s temperature is like -30 degrees and they don’t start the test for the candidates on time so you will easily get disrupted during the test.
Staff talk very angrily and mix their own preferences with regulations. They don’t give you the required equipment and accommodations as is mentioned on the ETS website.
They are very irresponsible and definitely not trained for this job.
Nothing in this test centre is like what is said in the ETS website and it is very sad that ETS doesn’t do something about the very low quality of everything at this centre.

Unfortunate experience here while taking a test - high stakes, expensive ($1000+) licensing exam.

I was in the testing room and ~10 minutes in we could here a woman on a loud phone call and a dog barking and whining in an office connected via a door directly next to the testing cubicles!

After ~10 mins of the noises, I talked to the proctor and requested head phones, which were available during the practice exam session, but was told only small disposable ear plugs were available. These only muffled the sounds slightly so I could still hear all of the distractions.

The talking and dog noises continued on and off for the entirety of the 4 hour exam.

I was able to complete the exam without any technical difficulties but the environment was not conducive to any type of testing.

Also, the testing room I did my practice exam in was not the same as the test day - defeating the purpose of paying to do a practice run.

I've had a very poor experience at this testing center.

First of all, it's a quite old building and this training center in particular is located at a small office behind a solid door. You could only recognize that it is an office by a small sign they have on the door. I arrived 20 minutes earlier than my test but no one answered the closed door, even though I can hear voices and printer noises inside. Even if test takers weren't allowed inside yet, an answer would've been appreciated. One would think that they're at the wrong place.

The disrespectful attitude they give to immigrants/international students and those who are visiting for the first time is just unbelievable. The employee at the desk did not provide any registration directions for filling the forms whatsoever, then leaves it to the last second to notify me that there's a problem with providing my English signature, then proceeds to insult my mother language and tell me that I could easily be an impostor
if I don't have another ID (even though the ID has my picture).
The security check before entering the testing area is even worse. They audibly judge you about your appearance and accuse you of lying. In my case, the employee even stopped me to lecture and humiliate me for 3 minutes about my mask, which I was wearing correctly for my asthma.

I'd also like to note how discriminating it was to put the international students' IDs in plastic bags while the others got to keep them without anything. Don't tell me it's to "keep the passports open"; they did not even check our IDs inside the testing room nor are the employees even allowed inside. Plus, it's only a flip of a page and sanitizers are available all over the office, if you're so afraid. The plastic bags are even handed to us with the tips of their fingers.

It's such a shame that it's the only site for testing for several tests. I've never received such treatment anywhere else before going there. By the time I got to my desk to begin the test, I was already nervous and frustrated that all I can think about is this horrible treatment that I've gotten. You should always assume that someone is taking the test for the first time and PLEASE be professional and stop lecturing test takers and judging them on irrelevant things. It literally ruins their day and wrecks their confidence during the test.

I do not recommend this place for taking any testing. Despite having the option to take the test online at home, I opted to take an AWS certification test here to be able to sit and focus in a distraction free environment. Unfortunately, the facility was quite the contrary. A dog started barking after a few minutes. Nobody came upon waving in the camera. Later the attendant came, opened the other door to the lobby, and quietened the dog. However, the dog started whining after a while. The attendant came again and then again with another person to calm the dog. This exercise continued for a few times. Upon inquiry, he said that the dog is in the lobby and belongs to other tenants and that they have no control on the situation. He suggested using headset or earplugs. I appreciate the explanation. However, these aids can be uncomfortable to wear for a long time and ineffective against such distractions. The test-taking person is already under pressure. The experience reflected that this facility is not suitable for the purpose.

I re-certified for first aid and CPR here in Dartmouth. Everything went great. Good instructor and convenient location for me (Tacoma Dr.) I plan on more courses here in the near future. Thanks.

These people are so darn rude. You think they could be a bit more kind but they just don't care. If I acted the way they do at my job id be fired immediately. Not helpful with the process.

Not impressed. They didn't seem to know anything about my specific test. Last year I received false information over the phone and they never responded to email as advertised.
